What you need:
B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent relevant experience required
Knowledge of related AI applications, relational databases, and web technology
Solid oral, written, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied political environments
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in a Solutions Engineer/capacity
Experience working in a start-up

What you’ll do:
The Solutions Engineer is crucial in aligning innovative strategies with technology solutions within complex accounts. This position emphasizes collaboration with clients and internal team members, including C-level contacts, to achieve agreement on multi-product technology solutions across various Salesforce product lines. The Solution Engineer will handle multiple tasks, including business development, operations, IT strategies, and executive-level product demonstrations. They must be trusted advisors to advance innovative solutions while enhancing business performance.
Business Problem Solving: Tackle complex and ambiguous business challenges using research and assessment skills to define the problem, generate innovative ideas, identify opportunities, and recommend actionable next steps.
Innovation Management: We streamline clients' decision-making processes by communicating and evaluating solution options while building consensus among key stakeholders. In some cases, we assist clients in creating new decision frameworks and governance processes that provide ongoing value beyond a specific engagement.
Connect Experiences: Showcase how connected experiences are realized through Salesforce solutions through software demos and rapid prototyping. This includes delivering executive-level demonstrations, constructing future-state customer journey strategies, and developing long-term IT roadmaps.
"Solutioning" is a fundamental aspect of this role. Understanding that part of the responsibilities will involve supporting the customer and Account Executive in discovering, analyzing, and recommending strategic solutions is essential. This entails delivering transformational pitches based on live product demonstrations to validate the proposed solutions, utilizing all you.com technologies to address each customer's unique challenges and objectives.
Identify the customer’s business needs and position the most suitable You.com solution to meet those objectives.
Create and present tailored solutions and demonstrations on our product offerings, showcasing how we can enhance their business strategies and create value.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the customer’s architecture regarding our solutions.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional solutions teams, aligning them with the opportunity strategy.
Develop and narrate the customer experience story enhanced by You.com technologies.
Engage in all relevant product, sales, and procedural training and certifications to acquire and maintain essential knowledge for effectiveness in the role.

This role is considered a Level P5 in our role-leveling system inspired by PAVE
