We're on the lookout for a Social Executive to join our awesome Social team, managing a variety of brands across MENA. This is an exciting opportunity to work with and learn from a world-class social team who are customer-obsessed, insist on the highest of standards and think big.

You should have a strong understanding of social media platforms, love memes and have a knack for recognising emerging trends and opportunities.


Responsibilities
  • Create and schedule social media content across social platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube & TikTok
  • Support on creating monthly social media content calendars 
  • Social copywriting in both English and Arabic, including creative copy for post captions as well as captions for paid social ads
  • Identify trends and content opportunities that are relevant to AE, EG and SA audiences on social media that we can jump on
  • Monitor trending news & topics across social media channels relevant to the entertainment and retail industry
  • Research content ideas and best-in-class social references from similar brands / competitors or out of category brands
  • Come up with engaging social content ideas that will resonate our community
  • Engage and respond to our community comments across channels to generate conversation and drive brand love
  • Analyse page & post performance and be able to recommend ways to improve our organic numbers
  • Support social media manager on reportingAttend internal & external weekly status calls with the wider team


  • Experience & Competencies
  • 2-3 years of social media experience, preferable agency side
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic
  • You're collaborative, with solid attention to detail (no typo goes unmissed)Y
  • ou’ve got an excellent understanding of the social media landscape in the MENA region (specifically SA, EG and AE) and channel best practice, especially on Instagram & TikTok
  • You have your finger on the pulse on all things trending cross platforms
  • You’re an avid user of TikTok
  • Good understanding of social media metrics and KPIs
  • Proactive, self-motivated and always striving for excellence
  • Curious & eager to learn
  • You take ownership of your tasks and never miss a deadline
  • You respond well to feedback and actively seek to improve the quality of your work
