About the Role:

As the Business Analyst at Surgimate, you will serve a critical product role to ensure Customer requirements are evaluated and dispositioned appropriately, solutioned thoroughly, while working cross functionally with our Customer Operations, Growth and Development teams to deliver new features to our applications. 

Your goal will be to support our product roadmap and delivery processes to delight our customers and optimize business outcomes. The ideal candidate is very hands on and able to break down product stories into technical building blocks. The Business Analyst will report to our CPTO – Chief Product and Technology Officer.  

The salary range for this position is $80,000- $100,000 annually based on candidate's experience, plus a performance incentivized bonus. This role is fully remote within the US and may include some travel for customer and team events. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Support the product roadmap, including feature requirements and analysis, delivery management, documentation and design requirements and the communication of outcomes to stakeholders.  

  • Work in tandem with the Research and Development (R&D) team by supporting one or more product development lifecycles through the creation of tickets and user stories, as well as overseeing sprint ceremonies and releases. Work with the Delivery Manager and technology leaders on a day-to-day basis to remove roadblocks for the technology teams. 

  • Act as liaison among customers, internal technical, growth and operations teams. 

  • Create and document user stories/use cases, process & data flows, and scenario in order to clearly communicate a set of functional requirements 

  • Develop high fidelity wireframes and functionality mockups for internal and external use to ensure accurate and complete user stories and thoughtful design 

  • Assist with analyzing product performance and metrics to evaluate success and inform future iterations. 

About You: 

  • 5-7 years of experience in product analysis, preferably in the SaaS/startup space. 

  • Exposure to the healthcare industry is a strong plus.  

  • Strong analytical, prioritization, and communication skills.  

  • Documentation-focused with a data-driven approach to decision-making.  

  • Experience in conducting discovery and requirements gathering sessions and documenting business requirements 

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and JIRA.  

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
