YOUR ROLE
The Planning Analyst (PA) serves an important role in demand planning and inventory management at Stio. The PA supports the Inventory Planning team with reporting, inventory planning tasks, and seasonal purchasing. In addition, the PA will be responsible for cost forecasting and KPI analysis for Distribution supporting the Finance team.
The PA reports to the Sr. Director of Inventory Planning and Management.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning & Inventory
- Own execution and distribution of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
- Audit and manage inventory availability across sales channels. Collaborate with Planners and Channel owners for inventory demand optimization
- Build and manage seasonal buy tools and reports to support purchasing
- Audit style level attributes and manage product status throughout the seasonal cycle from pre-season planning to end of life
- Support purchasing efforts by building style level size curves and historical color performance inputs
- Build analysis and make data recommendations for size expansion opportunities seasonally
- Recommend delivery adjustments to meet planned in-stock dates across channels including recommendations for air freight
- Support monthly in-season item level forecasting and perform ad hoc analysis to identify inventory risks or opportunities
- Actively partner cross functionally to drive shared business goals and key outcomes
- Distribution Forecasting and Analysis
- Monthly actualization and troubleshooting of Distribution Costs including invoice coding, summarization, and reporting
- Reporting and analytics on KPI costing including cost per fulfillment and cost per unit received. As part of the reporting, investigating planned costs versus actuals and making recommendations for improvement
- Forecast Distribution and Logistics KPIs to support monthly budget updates for storage, freight, receiving and processing
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, engineering, economics, operations management, or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in planning, finance, business analysis or supply chain analysis
- Possess a clear understanding of financial measurements including sales, gross margin, return rate, months on hand, sell through, turn rate, and how to positively impact these metrics
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations and processes.
- Excellent computer skills, including advanced Excel (pivot tables, charts, logical functions (sumif, vlookup, etc.)
- Strong critical thinking, data mining and problem-solving skills.
- Must be dependable, team player, organized, self-motivated and detail oriented.
- High energy and results oriented. Looking to make improvements and change.
- Willingness and ability to take on wide array of ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests.
- Proven ability to prioritize and focus to deliver timely work.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

We provide competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives and benefits. The base salary range for this role is $55,000-$70,000. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of the range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors including experience, skills and qualifications.
