We are now looking for a new Tax Accountant to join our growing Australian Accounting team.

 

What does it mean to be a Tax Accountant in Sleek?

 

You will be responsible for for assisting the Accounting and Tax Department:

 

• Preparing Financial Statements, tax returns for various entity types: sole traders, companies, partnerships and trusts,
• Preparing regulatory submissions, such as FBT, TPAR, and other ad-hoc submissions,
• Understand and adhere to financial and taxation regulations and legislations,
• Communicate with clients,
• Ensuring on-time lodgment of tax returns, and other regulatory submissions,
• Other ad-hoc accounting/tax-related duties as requested by the Management

Requirements

• Accounting degree,
• MINIMUM 2 YEARS PLUS EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH AUSTRALIAN TAX - MUST: preparing tax returns for sole traders, companies, partnerships and trusts,
• Experience with XERO → Certified user,
• Experience with software like Dext and Fathom,
• Self-motivated, positive attitude, proactive and detail-oriented,
• Good interpersonal and communication skills,
• Able to meet tight deadlines,
• Flexible start date
