About the role:

As Country Manager (m/f/d) focussing on the German market, you will together with the Country Head Germany work on expanding our market-leading position in the German market by fostering a spirit of collaboration and trust, defining objectives and forging alignment on required decisions and actions. While the role will currently focus on operational business steering, future growth will enable you to work more and more strategically.

Job Description

About your tasks:

  • You steer the daily operational German (Own Stock) Business, aiming to achieve Annual Operating Planning and P&L targets. You also take the business lead role in various initiatives and projects, driving them to (commercial) success
  • You closely monitor and analyse relevant KPIs, developing standard reports with Data Science and BI, to drive improvements with different departments. You also oversee margin management, pricing strategy implementation, and the development of new KPIs for market monitoring
  • Together with the Country Head for Germany you lead the quarterly forecast process for Germany, developing yearly plan & long-term plan in close cooperation with Controlling
  • You closely align with other teams like Marketing, Category Management and Pricing on activities and campaigns to achieve sales growth, ensuring efficient budget usage and monitoring quality indicators such as CLV with the help of a constantly evolving customer data model. You also keep a close look on our NPS, aiming to improve overall customer satisfaction
  • You develop a deep business understanding, identifying new business opportunities, for example connected to our Rx (prescriptive medication) and own brand business



Qualifications

About you:

  • You have a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field, and have gained several years of practical experiences in a commercial role in a complex environment, ideally in the ecommerce or pharma sector
  • You are ambitious, with a strategic mindset, strong business sense and excellent analytical skills. You also possess strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively on different levels and with cross-functional teams
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines with a hands-on approach and resilience. You are able to take decisions under uncertainty and are willing to take risks
  • You are business fluent in English and German, and are able and willing to come to our Cologne office several days a month
