About the job:
Role:  Build Project Manager

Work schedule: Full Time | 40 hours per week | 7 AM to 4 PM Eastern Time
Type of Contract: Independent Contractor
Salary Range: up to 1,500 USD per month

About the Role:

As a Build Project Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring a smooth and successful home building journey for our customers. You'll bridge the gap between customer needs, design expertise, and the construction process.  This unique role combines customer support with project management, making it ideal for individuals passionate about design, technology, and exceptional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with customers to understand their dream home vision, answer questions about client products and services, and guide them through the building process.
  • Collaborate with a network of skilled designers, architects, and engineers to translate customer desires into customized home plans.
  • Manage the feedback loop, ensuring clear communication and incorporating customer revisions into the design plan.
  • Oversee design-related budgets, track expenses, and maintain financial accountability.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of final construction drawings to customers.
  • Utilize Shopify as a platform to manage transactions, customer interactions, and workflow integrations.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on all deliverables throughout the design process.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer support or project coordination, with a background in construction, design, or a related field (highly preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers, designers, and technical teams.
  • Experience with budget management and basic financial tracking.
  • Proficiency in Shopify and a demonstrated comfort level using technology platforms.
  • Ability to understand and interpret blueprints and floor plans.
  • Keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality assurance.
  • Active listening skills and a genuine passion for exceeding customer expectations.
