Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about numbers and organization? We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Virtual Assistant to join our team.

In this role, you will provide essential support by managing financial processes and ensuring accurate record-keeping. From reconciling accounts and processing invoices to preparing financial reports, you will play a key role in maintaining financial health for our clients.

We're looking for someone experienced in accounting practices with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounting functions in QuickBooks
  • Record transactions accurately
  • Handle accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P)
  • Coordinate with tax accountants
  • Sales tax filing knowledge across states is a plus
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Oversee income and expense ledger

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant or similar role
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks or Xero
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate well with clients and team members
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with US tax practices and experience with US clients is a plus.
