Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent, strategic, and detail-oriented Strategic Account Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The Strategic Account Representative will be responsible for promoting our cutting-edge video security solutions and supporting one of our largest strategic accounts.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support strategic account managers in executing sales strategies and in planning and prioritizing sales activities.
- Assist in identifying and understanding customer needs and mapping them effectively with our solutions and services.
- Aid in managing the sales process within Salesforce.
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, technical support, and sales operations to ensure customer needs are met.
- Assist in preparing sales reports and interpreting sales data to help identify growth opportunities.
- Engage Strategic Channel Partner sales teams regularly to promote OpenEye and gain wallet share inside the assigned accounts.
- Engage end-users to generate demand for our channel partners.
- Maintain effective communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and gauge potential opportunities for further sales.
- Prepare for and attend key regional and national trade shows and vertical market shows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in a technology discipline.
- Located on the East Coast for quick access to customers.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation and reporting skills
- Demonstrate a team-oriented mindset
- Proficient in Salesforce CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong technical aptitude with enterprise software and hardware solutions with the ability to understand and translate technical product information into customer benefit statements.
- Self-directed, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent relationship building and client management skills.
- Available to travel 50%-60% of the time.
- Experience with large national integration companies is preferred.
- Cloud SaaS and video surveillance management systems sales experience preferred
