Senior Digital Producer at NerdWallet

Job details

At NerdWallet, we empower consumers to make smart financial decisions with confidence. Our Brand Studio team creates best-in-class digital experiences that drive engagement, optimize user journeys, and elevate NerdWallet’s brand presence.

We’re seeking a Senior Digital Producer to lead both digital marketing campaign workflows and Agile-driven digital production projects. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with copywriters, designers, and creative engineers within our in-house Brand Studio team, acting as a key connector across Marketing, Product, User Engagement, and other cross-functional teams.

Your focus will be on optimizing landing pages, executing performance-driven campaigns, and refining creative workflows and tooling for digital asset production. This role demands deep expertise in digital creative production, marketing execution, and Agile project management. You’ll manage end-to-end campaign workflows and landing page initiatives, ensuring efficient collaboration and seamless execution—while upholding high creative and technical standards.

If you bring a unique blend of creative production and product management experience, along with a keen understanding of technical requirements, you’ll thrive in this role and make a meaningful impact on how we deliver and scale our digital experiences.

Where you can make an impact:
  • Marketing Campaign & Digital Asset Production: Lead production and execution of digital campaigns and assets, including homepage updates, landing pages, CMS tooling, paid ads, and emails—ensuring timely, on-brief delivery optimized for creative performance.

  • Project Leadership: Manage multiple digital projects across brand campaigns, web production, and Agile cycles; strategically prioritize based on impact, stakeholder needs, and team capacity.

  • Agile & Cross-functional Collaboration: Operate within Agile frameworks, partnering with design, copy, engineering, product, and growth marketing to drive execution.

  • Technical & Creative Planning: Evaluate feasibility, optimize workflows, and incorporate A/B testing, SEO, and personalization strategies.

  • Workflow Optimization: Improve creative and marketing workflows by applying best practices to streamline processes and boost team collaboration.

  • Tool & Process Optimization: Drive enhancements in tools, workflows, agency partnerships, and systems; communicate Brand Studio processes effectively while adapting to evolving business needs.

  • Creative Optimization & Performance Insights: Ensure creative quality and brand/UX alignment by gathering and applying performance insights to continuously improve output.

  • Stakeholder & Resource Management: Serve as primary contact for key digital projects; manage scope, timelines, and communication while adapting to changing priorities and navigating ambiguity.

  • Stewardship of Best Practices: Advocate for digital production best practices with senior leaders to influence priorities and align work with business goals.

Your experience:

We recognize not everyone will meet all of the criteria. If you meet most of the criteria below and you’re excited about the opportunity and willing to learn, we’d love to hear from you.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in digital production, marketing campaign workflows, and Agile project management.

  • Deep understanding of creative production and technical best practices for high-impact digital assets, including homepage surfaces, landing pages, CMS tooling, paid digital marketing campaigns and ads, email campaigns, and multi-channel initiatives.

  • Proven ability to anticipate and address project roadblocks, proactively developing solutions that improve processes and enhance team efficiency.

  • Expertise in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and proficiency with project management tools such as Wrike, Jira, or Asana.

  • Experience working with CMS platforms and prioritizing feature development to streamline web production—ranging from no-code/low-code environments to custom-coded solutions for high-impact campaigns.

  • Strong technical understanding of web-based production and CMS platforms. Familiarity with performance marketing technologies (e.g., Google Optimize, Optimizely, Google Tag Manager, analytics tools) is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to bridge creative and technical teams, ensuring campaigns are visually engaging and technically sound.

  • Experience with A/B testing, UX best practices, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills for aligning cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, iterative environments—adapting to shifting priorities while keeping projects on track and effectively scoping or re-scoping work mid-campaign.
