Role Description

Bizrate Insights is looking for a Sales Director to join our newly formed Sales team. This person will be a player/coach, starting as an individual contributor and later building the department, all while working closely with internal teams.

  • Identify white spaces and create target lists
  • Work with Marketing to help develop outreach strategies
  • Own your territory by creating and closing net new opportunities
  • Measure success by new revenue, overall client adoption & logos delivered
  • Apply strong solution-selling skills and extensive sales experience
  • Build and cultivate strategies and tactics that drive maximum performance across the entire sales cycle
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and provide solutions that clients need
  • Hire and build a sales team based on the processes you define

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of high performance with a proven track record of selling high-value solutions; SaaS, market research, customer feedback, and insights experience are a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field. Equivalent experience will be considered
  • Experienced with both Enterprise and Transactional sales, including running deals across multiple internal stakeholders/departments
  • Professional client-facing skills; polished, articulate & credible when communicating with clients
  • A true solution seller with a burning desire to uncover and understand client’s problems
  • A creative and curious mind that leverages creative problem-solving skills
  • A proven track record of selling into and building credible relationships at the ‘C’ level
  • Experience and deep understanding of ecommerce, retail, CPG, and/or SaaS solutions
  • Strong technical skills with sales tools including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Gong, Salesforce, and Hubspot

Requirements

  • Drive the entire sales cycle from inception to close, for both yourself and your team
  • Be a hunter by discovering and fostering your own leads, utilizing online and offline resources
  • Reach key decision-makers in order to sell Bizrate’s mission, platform, and solutions
  • Complete outbound sales outreach, including calls, emails, LinkedIn, and in-person connections across multiple verticals
  • Proactively maintain your pipeline via Salesforce
  • Achieve and exceed sales goals
  • Drive net new logo acquisition
  • Build and manage a growing sales team
