We are looking for an accomplished and entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager to champion the vision, growth, commercialization, and lifecycle management of our Magnet Review product. The ideal candidate will bring a start-up energy to help our team modernize how digital evidence is shared between stakeholders and have an impact on how investigations are conducted for both our public safety and private sector customers.
 
This candidate must reside in Canada or in The United States.


What You Will Accomplish:
  • Building software products that make a real difference in people’s lives by helping to uncover the truth and protecting the innocent;
  • Collaborating on a highly visible product with key business stakeholders including Executive Leadership, Sales, Marketing, User Experience Design & Engineering to shape the vision for the product;
  • Meeting with Law Enforcement, Public Sector and Private Sector Leaders and customers in the Digital Forensics and Investigations domains to uncover key challenges they face in today’s digital investigations;
  • Ideating on early-stage concepts & user experiences and work with a driven and highly skilled team to bring these to life for our customers (we love when great ideas become a reality!);
  • Becoming the subject-matter authority in your product domain.


  • Role Responsibilities:
  • Owning the product vision, strategy & commercialization grounded in an extensive knowledge of our customers’ needs and competitors;
  • Define, validate, and deliver a world-class user experience in partnership with our customers and User Experience Design team;
  • Fully understanding market problems and use cases by gathering feedback from product stakeholders (i.e. Customers, Users, Internal Stakeholders) and observing market dynamics – always seeking to fully comprehend the core underlying pain or challenge;
  • Define clear customer and business outcomes, and be able to translate those into software deliverables and requirements, and drive them to delivery with our Engineering teams;
  • Create compelling and competitive product positioning and messaging – conveying how what you are building moves the needle for our customers & the company;
  • Evolve and improve the way we practice Product Management;
  • Travel: 20%.


  • Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in a Software Product Management role with strong business, technology, and creative acumen;
  • A “think outside the box” Leader who embodies and demonstrates an ownership mindset;
  • A true sense of customer empathy – recognizing & caring genuinely about the motivations, challenges & frustrations of our customers & advocating for solutions to resolve them;
  • Demonstrate the ability to establish and deliver world-class user experiences in partnership with design teams;
  • Experience with understanding, balancing and delivering upon the needs of multiple user personas within a single software product;
  • Creating trust & strong relationships with various cross-functional teams from Engineering to Sales;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills - comfortable with presenting to customers, executive level stakeholders & other internal audiences;
  • Strong collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Stellar attention to details and organizational skills;
  • Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in a Technology Related Program, or equivalent relevant experience.


  • Nice to Haves:
  • Involved with early/growth stage SaaS software products;
  • Prior experience in the Digital Forensics industry, Cybersecurity or in Law Enforcement.


  • Compensation & Benefits:
  • The Compensation Range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. Please note that the actual compensation may vary depending on location and job-related factors such as qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. If you are applying for this role outside of the primary location and you are selected for an interview, the Talent Acquisition Partner can share more information with you. If the compensation structure for the role includes an incentive component (ie. most Sales roles) the range below represents total target compensation (TTC) (base salary + variable).

  • Compensation Range:
    MIN: $107,200 - MID: $134,000 - MAX: $160,800 CAD
    MIN: $128,800 - MID: $161,000 - MAX: $193,200 USD
