Role Description

The DCX Client Services Home-Based Commission & Inventory Analyst will work as a full-time employee for a growing business based in the United States. You will be responsible for closely following the instructions and processes outlined by our client. The daily tasks will vary, so it will be necessary to be very flexible in this position.

  • Analyze, calculate, and process commission payments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely distribution for sales teams or other commission-based roles based on company sales policies.
  • Reconcile commission statements, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with sales and finance teams to resolve commission-related issues.
  • Maintain and update commission tracking systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Prepare and analyze inventory reports, monitor stock levels, document discrepancies, and recommend process improvements to optimize inventory management.
  • Recommend the allocation and efficient utilization of inventory resources to program teams based on profitable demand planning.
  • Leverage Power Pivot and Power Query in Excel to build advanced financial models, automate data transformation, and generate dynamic reports for management review.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, summarizing findings and providing actionable recommendations to the Controller.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives with robust data analysis and scenario modeling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies, operational goals, and inventory management practices.
  • Assist in ad hoc financial projects and data cleanup initiatives as assigned by the Controller.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in commission analysis, inventory management, or a related financial analyst role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Pivot, Power Query, formulas, and pivot tables.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Experience with commission tracking software or financial system.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and financial modeling software.
  • Experience in ERP systems and data extraction methods.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
