Senior QA Engineer at Lastpass

LastPass is looking for a Senior QA Engineer:  

In this role you will test solutions in the domain of Mobile Applications, validating developments with automated tests on emulators and testing on physical devices. You will contribute to build a better product by overseeing quality assurance processes within your team to make sure we release software with the best possible quality.

Who will you work with? 

You will work closely with the agile teams responsible for the development and maintenance of mobile applications. Collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers, you will help shape the future of the product. Additionally, you will coordinate with the Release Manager to approve new features.

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on? 

• Maintain and validate existing regression test cases while creating and continuously updating internal technical documentation, test plans, test cases, and testing guidelines.
• Write edge case tests for existing and new functionalities, extending the scope of current testing.
• Create new test cases for functionalities that are difficult to automate, such as multi-factor authentication (MFA).
• Develop new test cases for umbrella features that span multiple teams, testing the interdependencies of these features.
• Test new features in production to ensure successful deployment.
• Coordinate full regression and exploratory tests.
• Assist with manual testing for supported teams.
• Participate in release planning and execution.

What does it take to work at LastPass?  

• Experience in a similar role within a diverse team
• Proven experience in designing complex test cases
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies and practices, with a passion for software quality
• Good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and ability to identify areas for process improvement
• Work experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence), TestRail, and GitLab
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Experience in the mobile domain
• Experience in testing software beyond interacting with the UI
