We are seeking a confident, competent, and gritty Product Manager to join our dynamic team. As a PM at Function, you'll be part of a team that's dedicated to using technology to improve healthcare. You'll work on a cutting-edge platform that enables our members to access their health data in real-time, and you'll be challenged to make a difference in people's lives.The ideal candidate will be meticulous in their attention to detail, self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. As an early member of our team, your contributions will play a critical role in shaping the future of our systems as we scale from tens of thousands of members to millions. - Develop and Implement Monetization Strategies: Create comprehensive strategies to enhance product revenue streams through innovative pricing, subscription models, and in-app purchases. Ensure strategies are robustly executed across all relevant platforms, directly contributing to the company's financial goals.
- Enhance Monetization Features: Lead the design and refinement of product features that drive revenue. This includes the integration of new payment options, the introduction of tiered service models, and the optimization of in-app purchasing systems to improve user conversion rates and overall spend.
- Monetization Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to monitor, track, and optimize monetization efforts. Conduct deep-dive analyses on user spending behaviors, identify revenue trends, and adapt strategies to maximize profitability.
- Product Communication for Revenue Optimization: Develop targeted communication strategies to promote monetization features effectively. Craft compelling in-product messages, promotional emails, and marketing campaigns designed to convert free users into paying customers and to encourage upsells among existing customers.
- Cross-Functional Leadership for Revenue Growth: Work closely with teams across the organization—including product development, marketing, customer success, and finance—to align efforts and drive successful implementation of monetization tactics. Lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure cohesive product offerings and maximize revenue impact.
- Market and Competitive Insight: Regularly assess the competitive landscape and market conditions to inform pricing and monetization strategies. Incorporate insights into product development to maintain competitive advantage and meet market demands.
- 5+ years of direct experience in monetization aspects of product management, with a proven track record of developing and executing innovative revenue generation strategies from inception to scale. - including the successful introduction and management of various pricing models, subscriptions, and in-app purchases across different products.
- Demonstrated success in a metrics-driven environment focused on revenue metrics. Emphasis of a deep involvement in designing and leading robust experimentation and A/B testing processes specifically aimed at increasing revenue, optimizing pricing strategies, and enhancing overall monetization efforts.
- Engage directly with engineering leadership and fellow engineers to spearhead high-impact projects. Your involvement will be critical, ensuring that every initiative you touch not only progresses smoothly but also significantly advances our objectives.
- Demonstrable ownership of revenue generation domains with quantifiable results in increasing revenue streams, such as improved ARPU (Average Revenue Per User), conversion rates of paid users, and overall revenue uplift.
- Possess the ability to communicate clearly and directly, eliminating any ambiguity about goals and expectations. Your commitment to clarity will facilitate efficient collaboration and alignment across teams.
