We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Project Manager to join our remote team and lead our Shopify Developers and IT specialists. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for both facilitating Agile practices and managing IT projects to ensure seamless execution and successful outcomes. Your expertise in Agile methodologies and project management, combined with your passion for e-commerce and digital marketing, will be instrumental in driving the success of our Shopify development projects.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and vision for the Shopify Developers Department, aligning IT initiatives with business objectives.

Agile Leadership: Guide the Shopify Developers Department in adopting Agile principles and practices, promoting self-organization, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, coordinate team activities, and manage timelines to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality solutions..

Team Management: Lead and manage a team of Shopify developers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster professional growth and development within the team.

E-commerce Platform Management: Oversee the development, customization, and maintenance of our Shopify-based e-commerce websites, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.

Technology Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement in our e-commerce systems and processes.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, sales, and operations, to identify technology needs and opportunities for process optimization. Collaborate on the implementation of integrated solutions to enhance the overall customer experience.

Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the development process and work with the team to implement enhancements that drive efficiency and quality.

Training and Mentorship: Coach and mentor team members on Agile best practices and project management skills, helping them grow in their roles and contribute effectively to project success.

Experience: Proven experience as an IT Project Manager in a Development environment, preferably with a focus on e-commerce or digital marketing projects.

Agile Expertise: Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies, with the ability to tailor processes to fit the unique needs of the team.

Project Management Skills: Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, manage budgets, and coordinate resources effectively.

Shopify Knowledge: Familiarity with Shopify development processes, themes, and customization is a plus.

Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams and stakeholders.

Problem-Solving: Adept at identifying and addressing challenges and promoting a solutions-oriented mindset within the team.

Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to guide and inspire a team toward continuous improvement and successful project outcomes.
