The primary objectives and responsibilities of a Presales Consultant includes:
Sales Demonstrations
  • Work alongside BDM’s and Account Managers on sales opportunities specifically in relation to 360 and Azure products and services;
  • Support the gathering, understanding and documentation of EHS&S requirements, to collect sufficient information to allow accurate pricing on product and services to be undertaken;
  • Lead software demonstrations to customers; 
  • Undertake any required technical setup and testing prior to demo being undertaken;
  • Participate in dry run demonstrations with wider sales team;
  • Play an active role in the completion of tender responses, proposals and customer submissions relating to Evotix products and services, this includes: 
  • Complete sections of the tenders relating to product and services as assigned by the RFx Team;
  • Work closely with the opportunity owner and the services team on services estimates;
  • Utilise the Loopio system to identify, retrieve and improve stored tender responses;
  • Support Customer interactions with the “Sandpit” and other demonstration environments by providing training and support for these engagements. 
Continuous Improvement
  • Keep up to date with new product developments both within the software and the standard module configuration;
  • Keep up to date with implementation service improvements and changes from the Client Services team;
  • Provide feedback into the defined steering committee processes on new software functionality and recommendations for out of the box solutions based on feedback from tenders directly from sales opportunities;
  • Manage the sales demonstration environments for Evotix and ensure these contain relevant data examples and are updated to latest versions as those versions are released. 
Team Meetings and Training
  • Be an active participant in sales team meetings;
  • Actively participate in regular sales and product training, then practice and apply these new skills;
  • Remain abreast of EHS&S industry trends along with emerging risks and issues;
  • Share information and knowledge with colleagues across the wider sales team. 


What you’ll bring to the table: 
  • Proven experience as an EHS or technical software / services solutions sales professional with an aptitude for technical demonstrations and configurations is critical to success;
  • A demonstrable technical capability such as experience in complex system administration and experience in databases and SQL;
  • Strong business acumen and confidence presenting and selling to senior executives – C-Level, GM’s, Director of Safety, Compliance Directors etc; 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to be an outstanding team player;
  • Self-motivated, independent, and high-performance individual, with ability to learn and become productive quickly;
  • Superb relationship building skills and ability to demonstrate the value of the Evotix platform to customers and prospects;
  • Articulate and insightful;
  • Open and collaborative – maintains strong internal relationships;
  • Can prioritize activities to maintain focus while balancing many activities.
