About The Role & Team

We are adding a Project Manager, Project Development & Capital Markets to our Services Team. Reporting to the Director, Development, this individual will work within the Development Vertical to manage complex development and capital markets client engagements and initiatives in conjunction with a world-class team.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee and direct responsibility over individual client engagements ranging from market-entry analysis to turn-key project development services and project financing support, reporting to the Director of Development.
  • Manage key project development and financing workstreams supporting development, debt, back-leverage, tax equity, and credit rating activities between internal and external client teams ensuring smooth execution from initiation to closing.
  • Support technical and financial analysis of solar PV and energy storage projects from C&I to utility-scale across all major US markets.
  • Expertly manage and coordinate with external stakeholders as required in the project development process to deliver the engagement objectives.
  • Develop complete client & subcontractor/vendor engagement-specific scopes of work for proposal generation, including individual engagement costing and scheduling.
  • Support the design and architecture of new products and tools to serve renewable energy project developers and investors through Euclid’s platform
  • Support overall company and project-specific functions in collaboration with the Director of Development and/or COO/Co-Founders, including engagement statuses, P&L tracking, and resource planning.
  • Cause more solar and storage projects to be built by contributing to the standardization of project development processes in the industry and raising the bar for quality

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in renewable energy project development and finance, with 2+ years directly participating in capital markets transactions.
  • Experience in project development, project financing, capital markets, market tax equity and debt structures, transaction management including independent engineering (IE), insurance, asset management, etc. workstreams.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and executing multiple C&I and/or utility-scale PV, PV + storage, or standalone storage projects
  • Complete knowledge of renewables project lifecycle, crucial project value drivers, project development, and project financing.
  • Ability to read and interpret key transaction agreements, including: interconnection, power purchase, site lease, EPC, membership interest/asset purchase, etc.
  • Experience directly managing third-party vendors
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, project management, economics or related fields - preferred, but not required

The starting base pay for this role is between $140,000 and $165,000 with an equity award. The actual base pay depends upon many factors, such as education, experience, and skills. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
