POSITION OVERVIEW:

As the Learning & Development Manager you will play a key role in establishing and enhancing the learning culture across our global organisation. You will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive suite of learning programmes that align with our global strategy and meet the development needs of a diverse, global workforce.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Design, develop and implement the L&D strategy for the business, catering to the needs of employees at all levels.
  • Assess existing training programmes and materials and make recommendations for improvements/updates to ensure relevance, effectiveness, and engagement.
  • Work closely with functional leadership teams to identify training needs and design appropriate learning solutions.
  • Collaborate with HR to integrate learning and development initiatives into performance management processes, succession planning, and career development frameworks.
  • Deliver training sessions and workshops using a variety of techniques to engage, inspire and develop our people.
  • Implement data-driven approach to monitor the outputs of global training programmes.
  • Manage our LMS and provide management information to senior leadership on training adoption, effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends in L&D and drive continuous improvement and innovation.

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Educated to at least graduate degree level in a relevant discipline, ideally coupled with additional L&D specialized qualifications and membership of relevant professional bodies.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience working at a senior level, in a global environment. Able to demonstrate experience of instructional design and implementation of successful learning and development programmes on a global scale, including the use of AI software tools.
  • Ability to design and implement effective training programmes that address organizational needs and objectives.
  • Experience of leading a global, diverse team.
  • Experience managing learning management systems (LMS) and other technology platforms for training delivery and administration.
  • Data analysis skills to assess training needs, evaluate programme effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions.
  • A solution focussed approach and mindset, combined with relevant knowledge of best practices in successful people-focused organisations.
  • Facilitation skills to deliver engaging workshops and webinars.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
