About the role

We’re looking for a Brand Design Lead to join our global creative team, driving growth in the UK and shaping our vision to change employment for good. The right candidate will be our brand custodian and creative powerhouse on the ground, guiding and supporting the UK team to deliver highly effective strategic creative work. The role is fully remote, requiring a self-starting team player with diverse experience across brand, design and creative – able to craft campaigns and design for all content types from digital, print and everything in-between across the Employment Hero house of brands. You are curious, culturally immersed, and eager to use your creative talents to shape our vision of changing employment for good.

What you’ll be doing
  • Own concept development, creative direction, and brand application for integrated campaigns and creative project delivery, including campaign identities, OOH, digital and micro sites, editorial content, reports, social media assets, video, and experience design direction.
  • Create visually compelling creative assets that align with our brand identity, while also pushing our design language into fresh new territories across digital ads, social media content, email, landing pages, presentations, event collateral, print materials as well as motion and content.
  • Drive the development of audience-focused creative for brand campaigns and multi-channel marketing initiatives to meet business targets.
  • Work autonomously and take ownership of brand design/creative in the UK.
  • Work with our Campaign Managers, Growth and Loyalty teams to create compelling content across multiple media formats, including our website, digital advertising, social media, downloadables, videos, animations, events and beyond.

What you'll bring 
  • 8+ years agency/design industry experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • 4+ years proven leadership experience managing and guiding a multidisciplinary team or direct reports, and contractors or creative agency partnerships to deliver complex creative projects end-to-end.
  • Seasoned designer/creative with a varied and highly creative portfolio showcasing award winning work across marketing campaigns, creative projects and social content. 
  • Passion for creativity, branding, design, and everything motion.
  • A natural storyteller, with interest in video, digital content, and social trends - who always seeks to push boundaries, innovate, and elevate brand experiences through outstanding visual storytelling.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into compelling creative solutions, with a strategic mindset and a keen understanding of audience insights.
  • Excellent understanding of marketing principles, digital-first design, accessibility standards, photography, typography, digital/social, and print.
  • Deep understanding of media platforms like TVC, OOH, Paid Social, and Organic Social, delivering impactful creative quickly and at scale.
  • Proven experience of socially led campaigns that have changed the dial.
  • Operate at the intersection of creativity, data, and innovation, guiding creative output by testing new ideas, insights, and strategies, and focusing on those that prove successful.
  • High proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) Bonus:  AfterEffects and Premiere Pro.
