Position Overview:

We're on the lookout for a motivated and dedicated Account Executive, ideally with a background in B2B SaaS organizations. As a proactive sales hunter, your daily activities will involve all stages of a typical SaaS cycle: lead nurturing, prospecting, discovery, product demonstration, and closing. You will be responsible for using your extensive knowledge of the company’s product to provide guidance and support, identify other product needs, and sell within our existing customer base. 

Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Develop and implement a strategic plan to identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Lead the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and initial contact to closing deals and contract negotiations. Effectively manage and prioritize multiple leads to achieve sales targets and quotas.
  • Client Engagement: Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and key decision-makers in target organizations. Understand their business objectives, pain points, and challenges to position our software solutions effectively.
  • Solution Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our software products, highlighting how they address specific client needs.
  • Collaborative Approach: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and engineering, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Sales Reporting: Keep thorough records of sales activities through Hubspot.
  • Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets, quarterly quotas, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to contribute to the overall success of the sales team and the company.
  • Evangelize: Be visible and available for customers and partners while being a viable force at conferences and other industry events.
  • Travel Requirements: Willing to travel up to 25% of the time, including national and regional destinations. Client on-site meetings/ conference trade show travel will be required.

You may be a good fit if you have:

  • 3-5 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in B2B SaaS organizations 
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • In-depth understanding of sales lead development and funnel management 
  • Knowledge of the construction industry- specifically the residential build process
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills via phone and email 
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously
  • Experience using a CRM such as Hubspot
  • A learn-and-be-curious mindset 
  • Experience/ can thrive in an early-stage startup environment- you’re a self-starter who stays highly accountable 
  • Success when given ownership and autonomy- you can anticipate problems or objections and implement effective solutions

The salary range for this full-time position is $75,000-$90,000 per year. In addition to salary, this position will receive commissions and/or bonuses (OTE $150,000).The salary is determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, location, and other job-related qualifications, as well as alignment with market data.
