We are seeking a talented Senior SysOps Engineer that is passionate about Cloud computing, Systems design & management, and DevOps methodologies. You will be part of the Infrastructure & Operations team where we have a strong focus on reliability, performance, and security to efficiently manage and scale our cloud infrastructure.
While working in the Infrastructure & Operations organization, you will lead and coordinate a distributed SysOps team consisting of members from Poland, France, Spain, and Tunisia. You’ll report directly to Chief Information Officer based in Warsaw.
To be successful, you will need to be technically skilled and capable of holding your own with other peers. You possess excellent communication, collaboration, and diplomacy skills. You are well organized and not afraid of taking ownership and making decisions. You have experience practicing infrastructure-as-code including using tools like CloudFormation.
If you love solving problems at scale, prefer to write scalable and reliable solutions to automate infrastructure management, are a troubleshooter, and are deeply technical, then this role is for you.
Your responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate activities of distributed SysOps Team (10 members) in France, Poland, Spain, Morocco and potentially Tunisia.
- Architect, deploy, manage, and scale cloud infrastructure
- Plan and lead technical projects that interact with a variety of teams within the company
- Define standards and best practices across your domain
- Work closely with various teams to ensure those best practices get applied
- Collaborate with Development teams in CI/CD stack design and management, solution architecture, service catalog, and technology choices
- Manage the distribution of operational tasks across team members
- Ensure high reliability, elasticity, scalability, and security of maintained platforms
- Help prevent and investigate production issues
Your Profile
Higher education (Master Degree), ideally in engineering school, you have an experience of 10 years in IT and has multiple years of expert-level experience with AWS, preferably certified in SysOps or Solution Architecture
Our requirements
- Expert in ECS, ECR, EC2, ASG, Systems Manager, ALB
- Proficiency in S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch, SQS, SES, SNS, AWS WAF
- Proficiency in Docker
- Experience in programming in at least one language (preferably Python)
- Proficiency in IaaC (preferably CloudFormation)
- Proficiency in CI/CD (Git, Gitlab, Jenkins)
- Expert in Linux (preferably Amazon Linux or similar)
- Proficiency in SQL
- Proficiency in log management using Elasticsearch and fluentbit/fluentd/logstash
- Good knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, and cloud computing patterns
- Good knowledge of security standards and best practices, modern Authentication and Authorization methods
- Firm grasp of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting.
Soft skills
- Self-driven and motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem-solving
- Experience and knowledge of Jira and Confluence is a plus
- Multiple years of International team collaboration (preferably some leadership experience)
- Fluency in English
Annual Salary : 70 000€ - 75 000 € ( gross) + 5 000 € (bonus)
