Job summary
We are looking for a proactive HR Assistant to support the Human Resources department by dealing with administrative tasks and assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes. This full-time role would suit a graduate looking for a challenge as well as an opportunity to further advance their skills and career in a great working environment. The HR Assistant will be a highly motivated team player with a genuine interest in Human Resources, technology and finance. 



Key Responsibilities
Recruitment support 
  •  Manage candidates using our applicant tracking system, Pinpoint 
  •  Screen resumes and job applications 
  •  Schedule and coordinate job interviews 
  •  Perform 1st stage HR interviews 
  •  Assist hiring managers in interview preparation 
  •  Assist in background and reference checks 
  •  Post job ads and vacancies on job boards and social media 
  •  Put together reports for leadership to monitor recruitment KPIs 
  •  Onboarding/offboarding support 
  •  Assist in new staff onboarding tasks including preparing and giving inductions 
  •  Set up and new staff induction on HR systems and coordinating with IT team 
Onboarding
  •  Manage buddy system for new staff 
  •  Support probation end process 
  •  Coordinate delivery and collection of IT equipment  
  •  Record-keeping 
  •  Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, performance evaluations, and benefits documentation 
  •  Prepare offer letters and contracts 
Compliance
  • Maintaining compliance records and ensuring tracking tools are accurate and up to date 
  • Undertake administrative duties necessary to fulfil compliance tasks 
  • Minute taking for formal HR meetings (investigations, disciplinaries, terminations etc) 
  • Keep up to date on UK employment law 
HR tasks 
  • Perform exit interviews and stay interviews 
  • Support the HR team and HR processes as necessary 
  • Collaborate in designing and implementing new processes 
  • Assist in identifying HR team objectives and contribute to HR goals 
  • Creating and publishing internal communications and soft skill blogs for staff 
  • Assist in coordination of learning and development plans for staff 



Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Skills
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • 40+ WPM Touch Typing 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Knowledge of the UK employment law 
  • Good understanding of MS Office products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Great initiative and eager to learn and take on responsibilities 
Experience 
  • Previous experience in a HR or administration role. 
 Qualifications/Training 
  •  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
