Confluence is seeking a sales professional with 10+ years of experience prospecting, developing, and closing new SaaS-based solution sales across the performance, attribution and risk segments of the financial services industry. Via solution selling, you will be responsible for demonstrating the value of Confluence’s services by presenting tailored solutions that help clients/prospects achieve better business outcomes.  




More about the role & team
·       Leverage your prior industry experience to build and maintain a thorough working knowledge of the value delivered for all analytics solutions and services offered by Confluence.
·       Drive the enterprise sales process from prospecting to close within an assigned territory.
·       Meet and exceed your annual sales goals.   
·       Leverage and grow your industry network through in-person visits, via web-based meetings, and by attending industry conferences. 
·       Utilize Salesforce.com to effectively capture all important insights, notes, and context from in-person meetings, calls, and emails to drive effective forecasting and management of your sales pipeline.


What skills and experience do I need to succeed?
• Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited University or equivalent industry experience
10+ years of experience prospecting, developing, and closing new SaaS-based solution sales across the performance, attribution and risk segments of the financial services industry.   
• Strong written and oral communication, presentation, and organizational skills.  
• Ability to network and build relationships with senior decision makers at leading global financial institutions.   
• Well developed in-person and virtual presentation skills, strong professionalism, and the ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Aptitude to engage with clients to gain information necessary to better position Confluence products and services to solve client problems. 
Nice to Have [Non-Essential] Technical Competencies  
• Experience with Salesforce.com. 
• General understanding of LinkedIn.com, ZoomInfo, etc. and how to leverage to build prospect and client relationships.
• Familiarity with core Microsoft Office software, including Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
