Founded in 2019 and backed by investors from SpaceX, Tesla, and Anduril, we've assembled a powerhouse team that bridges two worlds:
Cutting-Edge Technology: Our engineering team is comprised of distinguished computer vision engineers, software architects, and data scientists from the self-driving car industry. They bring unparalleled expertise in AI and machine learning to the realm of workplace safety.
Insurance Acumen: Our insurance team comprises seasoned professionals who understand the nuances of workers' compensation policies. They work hand-in-hand with our tech experts to translate advanced analytics into tangible insurance products that truly serve our clients' needs.
Our groundbreaking perception-based risk assessment program, the first of its kind, provides the most comprehensive data stream available for risk analysis and monitoring and has proven to significantly reduce accidents in some of the world's most hazardous occupations.
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to spearhead the user experience for our critical customer-facing platforms, the Broker and Customer Portals. Responsibilities
Define and Drive Product & UX Strategy: Establish the overarching design vision and strategy for all customer-facing products, aligning with business goals and revenue impact.
Lead Comprehensive User Research: Conduct in-depth user research (interviews, testing, data analysis) to deeply understand customer needs and translate insights into actionable design decisions.
Create High-Fidelity UI/UX Designs: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visually compelling UI designs, ensuring seamless implementation with engineering teams.
Establish and Maintain a Cohesive Design System: Build and refine a scalable design language and system to ensure consistency and efficiency across all applications.
Champion User-Centered Design and Accessibility: Advocate for human-centered design principles and ensure all applications adhere to accessibility and usability best practices.
Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and leadership teams to integrate design thinking and drive a culture of design excellence.
Measure and Optimize UX Performance: Define and track key UX metrics, implement A/B testing, and utilize data to continuously improve user engagement and satisfaction.
Required Experience
10+ years of experience designing complex B2B SaaS or enterprise web applications.
A compelling portfolio demonstrating proven ability to create effective enterprise user interfaces.
Mastery of interaction design, usability, accessibility, and user research methodologies.
Expert-level skills in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design platforms.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and the ability to work seamlessly with engineering teams.
Proven ability to influence product direction, lead design initiatives, and collaborate effectively in an agile environment.
