POSITION SUMMARY

At CloverDX we help our customers around the world solve real-world data challenges. We’ve built our reputation on providing a flexible and scalable data management platform.
We pride ourselves in providing excellent service to our customers beginning with the first contact through helping them succeed and grow years after they’ve become our customers.
Founded in 2007, we now have offices in the US, UK and Czech Republic, and work with some of the world’s leading companies in industries such as finance, healthcare and consulting.

CloverDX is helping solve real-world data challenges for companies around the globe. Solutions Engineers play a critical role in the continued growth of our company. As asolutions engineer you’ll become part of a globally distributed team of Sales, Marketing, Consulting and Product Development professionals to drive adoption and successful use of the CloverDX Data Management platform. Each of the responsibilities for this position require the ideal candidate to possess strengths across consultative, sales and technical domains. The position is based in our London UK office, but you can work virtually from anywhere in the UK.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Join Sales managers in discovery meetings to discern and document a prospective client’s specific data integration needs.
  • Prepare, customize and deliver demonstrations of CloverDX products and services, adapting our story to engage and connect with each client's distinct demands.
  • Present CloverDX value propositions to clients based on their business persona and use case.
  • Guide prospective clients during their CloverDX product trials, including installation and configuration of the platform and development, deployment, and automated execution of data pipelines.
  • Anticipate technical objections and meet them with prescribed responses.
  • Collaborate with prospective clients to define, develop and validate Proof-of-Concept data integration solutions. Think creatively to deliver PoC's that exploit our current capabilities rather than custom development.
  • Research, confirm and document CloverDX support of a continually evolving universe of data technologies and practices (e. g. DataOps, commercial REST and SOAP endpoints, semi-structured data stores, HL7, EDI, XML, JSON, Kafka, message queues and cloud services).
  • Deliver relevant technical advice and education to customers in the form of blog posts, white papers, webinars, and industry trade show presentations.
  • Identify and document feature gaps in the product and report those to the product development group.
  • Support the sales team in developing, executing and constantly tuning strategies aimed at achieving revenue targets.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • • 3+ years solution engineering, software development or technical consulting in data intensive domains.
  • Working knowledge of technologies in data management and data integration spaces (relational databases, XML, JSON, web services, etc.).
  • Capable and comfortable working in a small and distributed team.
  • Comfortable supporting clients from multiple different time zones.

ADVANTAGE IF YOU BRING
  • Experience with data integration software products and solutions.
  • Basic programming in a common language (e. g. Java, C, C++, C#, Python).
  • Experience provisioning and working in cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with Big Data tools and applications (HDFS, Spark).
