About the role: 

A great deal of our Product strategy is focused on leveraging AI to bring more value to our customers - like summarizing what the call was about or extracting topics of the conversation. The AI landscape is evolving quickly as do we and our AI enabled products - that’s why we are looking for a passionate Senior Engineering Manager that stays abreast of the latest technology advancements in AI.

Each Engineering team is focused on a different part of our product and each team consists of both backend and frontend engineers, QA and a Product Manager. Teams follow SCRUM with 2 weeks iterations.

Besides working in the team, each engineering leader is a part of the engineering leadership group - where we discuss how to move the whole Engineering forward with changes spanning multiple teams.

What you will do:

• Manage 2 cross functional teams of software engineers and QA focused on AI
• Grow, coach, and develop the team members to help them progress in their careers
• Be actively involved in hiring engineers for your team, making sure it’s well-staffed
• Manage the team in terms of delivery
• Represent the team in planning and product meetings
• Work with the rest of the engineering leadership on engineering-wide changes
• Measure velocity and improve efficiency for the team
• Drive innovation in engineering processes and strategies
• Maintain a sustainable, healthy, and collaborative culture aligned with the company values as we navigate through hyper-growth

What we are looking for:

• Experience of serving in an Engineering Manager role
• Experience with managing a team who built an AI enabled product
• Strong technical background: experience in building complex B2B SaaS products is a big plus
• Passionate about AI - the technology is evolving really quickly and you should stay abreast of the newest advancements
• You are highly organized. With many people doing many things in a fast-moving company, strong organizational skills—both for yourself and for the team—will be required
• You are able to weigh several and often conflicting constraints and make rapid decisions in a fast-moving and quickly-growing company
• You have the skills to align people with a common goal
• You are direct but careful with feedback, both given and received
