Because we’re growing, we’re looking for a Remote Marketing Manager to join our team to help with the production, management, and implementation of our marketing campaigns. The primary responsibility of the Marketing Manager is to generate qualified leads for the sales team.
About the role:
This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, implementing, improving, and reporting on various marketing systems for lead generation, closing sales, and hitting the company’s sales targets. This role is responsible for managing the implementation of all marketing communications. This includes improving our lead generation and lead conversion systems, management of our lists and CRM, and managing the marketing of events and webinars. Success in this role will be measured by timely and accurate implementation of campaigns, marketing systems and reporting, and overall increase in sales and performance of these campaigns.
You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing production and/or other relevant experience working with graphic designers, printers, copywriters, and web designers for both print and online. You also must be able to demonstrate extraordinary attention to detail. Accuracy is valued over speed in our company. This is a full-time position of 40-50 hours a week. The majority of your hours worked would be during our Seattle business hours, Mon - Fri, from 8 AM to 6 PM PST in order to better collaborate with our team and our clients. Work after hours may be required for emergencies, projects, and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:
Key Performance Indicators:
Success in this role will be measured in the following ways:
#1 Responsibility: To generate enough qualified leads to meet or exceed the company’s goals for new client acquisitions. This includes:
· Manage and fuel the results of our direct mail campaigns. This includes managing list cleaners and CRM, ensuring the campaigns go out on schedule, reporting on cost per lead and cost per sale, and troubleshooting problems.
· Fuel new leads through online and social media, which includes the submission of articles to key sites, LinkedIn and Facebook advertising, posting to our blog, managing our SEO efforts, creating and promoting our YouTube channel and maximizing lead conversion on our websites.
· Assist in the strategy and execution of trade show and event marketing, including the design of the booth, offers made, collateral, and follow-up.
· Manage list cleaners to ensure database accuracy, and to maximize performance of various campaigns by eliminating spam, unqualified prospects, duplicates, incorrect information, not-a-fit prospects, etc.
#2 Responsibility: To meet all production deadlines for marketing campaigns with integrity and accountability. This includes:
· Monthly printed newsletter production.
· Direct mail campaign production.
· Implementation of marketing campaigns for product launches, promotions, seminars, webinars, etc.
#3 Responsibility: Keeping all marketing collateral updated. This includes:
· All direct mail campaign materials and lead generation campaigns, including Shock-And-Awe materials, testimonial books, audio, and video material, etc.
· Brochures, catalogs, business cards, flyers, etc.
· Websites, ensuring all information is accurate information and that all sites and follow-up systems are performing properly.
Other Tactical Work and Responsibilities:
Note: This is the initial list for this position. Other tasks will be added as this individual’s skill level increases.
- Provide detailed reports to management of weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual leads generated, sales, conversion percentages, and ROI for various marketing initiatives.
- Manage and improve direct mail sales process, including all online and offline communications and systems.
- Manage list cleaners and appointment setters and keep our database accurate to make sure all leads are entered and tracked correctly, spam and unqualified leads are removed, duplicates merged properly, missing or wrong addresses and contact information are updated, new leads are properly classified and followed up on, etc.
- Help plan and execute the Company’s marketing plan; this includes list management, ROI tracking, and reporting of campaigns, managing vendors and executing all campaigns correctly and on schedule. This also includes proofreading and checking for mistakes, consistency throughout all communications, broken links, typos, etc., and that the right processes happen as they should.
- Help in the marketing of seminars, webinars, trade shows, and other marketing events.
- Quality control of brand and image to ensure consistency in all marketing communications, online and offline.
- Manage our SEO and measure the results.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Skills Required
- Deep understanding of the company’s target market and services offered.
- Deep understanding of direct response marketing.
- At least two years' experience with managing campaigns in Infusionsoft, HubSpot, or other marketing automation platform.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to write effective marketing copy.

- Advanced skills with Word, Outlook, Publisher, and Excel. Candidate must be able to work with database files and Excel spreadsheets containing data.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer, including VoIP phone calls and video meetings.
Other Requirements:
- You will need to provide your own computer that is running a currently supported version of Microsoft Windows.
- Allow us to install software on your computer that keeps it up to date with security patches and anti-virus because we work with heavily regulated industries in the United States. Security precautions are paramount for us.
- Having consistent electricity and/or backup batteries to work a full day is essential.
- Have a quality headset that connects to your computer to use our VoIP phone system to communicate with our team and clients without echoes or feedback.
- Have internet access of at least 20 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload speeds to work with our systems.
- Have at least two standard size (1080p) or better monitors/screens.
Professional Development:
The person hired into this role has the opportunity to grow into Director of Marketing, Director of Marketing and Sales, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

Compensation:
Compensation for our remote team can be paid in US Dollars or your local currency. Pay is either hourly or a fixed semi-monthly rate, depending on experience and qualifications.
