About the role
We're seeking a talented Senior Product Designer to join Buxton, a company transforming how organizations compete and grow through customer-centric technology and solutions. In this role, you'll lead end-to-end user experiences, shaping the future of our products and driving exceptional user engagement.
Where you’ll work
This is a remote-friendly role with flexibility to work from home. Ideal candidates are located in Central or Eastern Time Zone, with occasional travel to Dallas-Fort Worth, TX. Candidates outside this area will be considered for the right fit.
What you'll do
Product Design (50%)
- Design high-quality interfaces and user flows consistent with design standards
- Generate solutions for complex products, considering business, experience, and technology perspectives
- Deliver designs, experiences, and stories for technical assets, enhancing functionality and user experience
- Convert complex process flows into high-fidelity mockups and development-ready specifications
Strategy & Coordination (40%)
- Develop a deep understanding of Buxton's product vision and use it to influence design decisions
- Craft clear design briefs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on concepts
- Communicate compelling product stories to stakeholders at all levels
- Partner with teams to align user needs with business objectives, defining immediate steps and long-term strategies
Project Management (10%)
- Manage schedules and define product roadmaps
- Deliver projects on time with exceptional quality
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in product design, with at least 2 years working on enterprise web applications
- Proven ability to own the end-to-end design process, from ideation to high-fidelity designs
- Strong communication skills, using storytelling to align design decisions with business goals
- Proficiency in conducting user research and synthesizing insights
- Expertise in managing component-based design systems
- Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
Data Skills (Preferred)
- Expertise in data visualization
- Experience with data governance and organizing large datasets
- Familiarity with machine learning, predictive analytics, or AI-driven recommendations
- Experience with APIs, cloud technologies, and data analytics tools
Tools
- Figma: Mastery of advanced features, design system management, and collaboration with engineering teams
- Microsoft: Azure DevOps, Teams, and Microsoft Suite (emphasis on Excel and CSV)
- Additional Tools: FontAwesome, Storybook, Loom, Adobe Creative Cloud, WalkMe

Compensation
The Targeted Base Salary Range for candidates located in the U.S. is $100,000 to $130,000.
At Buxton, we strive to hire and nurture amazing talent across the United States. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience, specialized skills, internal alignment and a candidate’s home base. Depending on the position offered, other forms of compensation in addition to base pay may be provided as part of a total compensation package, including eligibility to participate in a bonus plan.
