Position Summary
Join a fast-paced, challenging work environment where you’ll have the opportunity to develop and implement cutting-edge technology while fostering both personal and professional growth. This role focuses on building benefits, enrollment, and HRIS web-based software solutions.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web-based software applications using ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in line with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to gather and refine user requirements.
- Troubleshoot and debug software to optimize performance and user experience.
- Integrate front-end components with JavaScript, jQuery, React, and modern frameworks like Angular.
- Develop and maintain APIs to enable seamless communication between applications.
- Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Manage source control and deployment using Git and AWS environments.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies to enhance development practices.
- Document technical specifications, processes, and updates for team and stakeholder use.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server.
- Skilled in JavaScript and jQuery.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to translate business process impacts into application changes.
- Basic understanding of interfacing systems.
- Adaptability to rapidly changing market requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, dependability, and follow-through.
Preferred:
- Experience with Angular or React.
- Familiarity with Git for version control.
- Background in Agile methodologies.
- Experience building and maintaining APIs.
- AWS knowledge and experience.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Specific benefit offerings vary by position and may be subject to change.
Standard working hours are 8am-5pm Central Time, unless otherwise stated in the Job Description.
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $90,000-$105,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at bswift, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package!
