Our industry-recognized Adobe engineering team is on the lookout for individuals who don't just do AEM work but have a drive to be part of the best! We are currently looking for a proactive, collaborative Senior AEM Back-End Developer to lead custom platform development for enterprise-level customers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to solve complex challenges, while working in a distributed environment.
Role and Responsibilities
Lead development for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle and understand the entire software development process from design to development to deployment to maintenance.Actively participate in client meetings, professionally and expertly, tailoring communications to fit your audience.Require minimal supervision, provide oversight for assigned projects, and get things done without being micromanaged.Work fast with an attention to detail within a fast-paced work environment with hard deadlines.Write well designed, testable, efficient code.Translate business needs into technical requirements.Provide constructive feedback in code reviews and help others to become better developers.Prepare and produce releases of software components.Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.Preferred Qualifications
BS/MS degree, bootcamp graduate, or equivalent self-education5+ years of professional hands-on AEM development experienceBuilt sites using AEM Cloud Service or AEM 6.5Proficiency with AEM, Java, SlingSolid understanding of systems design, caching, and persistenceStrong communication, problem solving, and consulting skillsFamiliarity with modern programming architectureWorked with Agile development, preferably SCRUM, and Unit Testing
