Senior Cloud Developer at Belmont Lavan Ltd

Main Responsibilities:

• Working on Analytics tools in the field of BI and Data Management – development, design and implementing cloud-based platforms for Data Scientist and Analyst
• Implementing cloud infrastructure as code and integrations to cloud-native data storage solutions – including quality and automation including Databricks
• Monitoring and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure to tackle complex technical problems
• Collaborating with stakeholders – technical teams, Data Scientist and Analytics, business site to understand requirements and translate it into technical specification and solution
• Providing guidelines for Data Scientist and Analysts as well supporting them
• Working with technical documentation to assure knowledge transfer and maintain repository of best practices

 

An ideal candidate profile:

• At least 7 years of experience as Cloud Developer or related roles
• Having higher education level within IT or related fields are preferred
• Expert level of cloud solutions – AWS preferred (but the other providers also might appear)
• Very strong skills in Python programming including refactoring code – it is nice to have knowledge of at least one other programming language
• Hands-on experience with deployment and managing cloud infrastructure, containerization including clusters and/or serverless
• Understanding of cloud security best practices to implement security measures for data protection and compliance
• Knowledge of automatization and IaC
• It is nice to have having experience with setting up solutions based on Databricks
• Fluency in English written and spoken – strictly international environmen
