Financial Analyst at Aretum

As a Financial Analyst at ARETUM, you will provide essential support for financial planning, reporting, and analysis to ensure that our operations meet government standards and exceed client expectations.

• Entering data into financial and other systems
• Coordinating centralized processing of contracts into GSA’s financial system
• Classifying accounting transactions
• Maintaining and reconciling accounts
• Performing account close out procedures
• Preparing reports and statements
• Analyzing accounting data
• Examining accounts

Requirements

• Two years of experience with federal financial accounting demonstrating a basic understanding of federal accounting systems, policies and procedures, standard accounting codes, classifications, and terminology.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required. (Three years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint or similar software/programs.
