Job Summary: 

A self-driven and competent individual thatwill perform, administer, and coordinate all collection functions to reduce the aging of client A/R through review, analysis, and communication with clients. This is a hands-on position that involves communicating with clients and employees. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Daily collection calls and emails aligned with the target 
  • Contacting customers regarding overdue accounts and determining reasons for non-payment 
  • Performing account reconciliations with AR 
  • Weekly and monthly reporting 
  • Monitoring customer accounts for non-payment, late payment and other irregularities 
  • Recommending that specific accounts should be shifted to a collection agency 
  • Researching / investigating historical data and resolving payment discrepancies 
  • Responding to customer questions and requests and addressing those questions/issues by liaising with other departments to facilitate the payment 
  • Complying with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures 
  • Monitoring customer payments in line with payment plans where agreed

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field with 2 years of relevant work experience 
  • B2B Cash Collections experience, experience within the software industry is preferred 
  • Experience working with a team that is located internationally 
  • Demonstrates flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and constantly changing workload 
  • Professional email communication skills are a must, along with communication over the phone 
  • Must be self-motivated, organized and able to complete assignments and tasks with minimal supervision 
  • Excellent command of English, additional languages are a plus  
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, experience working in Salesforce, NetSuite and PowerBi a plus

Salary Range:

  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is between $87,000 and $107,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
