You live in a calm one-room studio apartment, 35 m2, on the 1st floor with elevator.
The accommodation is comfortably furnished, equipped for 2 to 4 persons with double bed and 2 sofabeds (1 double- and 1 single sofabed), table, chairs, cable TV and highspeed internet, a comfortable cosy corner, and a beautiful bath with bathtub.
The comfortably furnished kitchen with stove, refrigerator and dishwasher invites to self supply and cooking, if you like.
All important implements such as table-ware, coffee machine, microwave etc. are present. There is also a washing machine and an iron. Fresh bedlinen and towels are made available.
Indoor parking available on request for the price of 6.- Euro per day.
This comfortable and convenient accommodation in Vienna is located in a calm side street, not far from the city center, and only a few minutes away from the fair grounds and the Wiener Prater, where the famous Ferris wheel stands. However, if you look in the other direction, you can directly reach the Donauinsel at the Danube.
The Donauinsel is an artificial island in the middle of the Danube. It was constructed in the 70s and 80s. The island is about 20 kilometers long and consists of a lot of promenades, green areas, playgrounds, and event zones, and is meant to serve as a huge local recreational site for Vienna. Every year, the so called „Donauinselfest“ is held on the island, a big open air music festival with up to 3 million visitors.
The ideal location of the convenient accommodation in the Stuwerstrasse allows for a fast travel to the Donauinsel within only a few minutes.
The Donauinsel itself was originally constructed to serve as a flood prevention for the city, but transformed into a little nature reservation with lots of different animal species. Moreover, you should not underestimate the amount of recreational activities being offered here. The townspeople use the area around the Donauinsel for relaxation, watersports and other activities like having a barbecue. There is also a nude beach available for all visitors.
The location of the apartment in Vienna also offers an easy route to board one of the many cruise ships, traveling across the Danube daily. Those ships feature many restaurants, so passengers are able to eat good food during the trip.
A supermarket as well as various other restaurants and shops are in the immediate vicinity of the holiday flat in Vienna in the Stuwerstrasse. There is also a subway station (U2) right next to the apartment and a few bus lines, which lead into the center of the city within a few minutes via the Praterstern and Schwedenplatz, but they can also take you to the Danube. In Vienna, the subways travel around-the-clock, so you will still be able to reach home even after a long night.

What is a medium-term rent?
The duration of a medium-term rent is usually 1 to 12 months. Most of the landlords offer long-term rents or rents for just a few days, therefore getting a medium-term rent without HousingAnywhere is not that easy.
Can I go through the contract before I make a reservation of the housing?
You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every offer. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on HousingAnywhere, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the landlords on HousingAnywhere.
Can I see my chosen accommodation in person before I sign the lease agreement?
Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on HousingAnywhere from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the landlord and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
If you move in and find that the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on HousingAnywhere at the time the reservation request was sent to the landlord, you can withdraw from the lease agreement under certain circumstances explained in this article in our help center.
Also, under our "secure move-in" policy, we'll assist you with moving to an alternative accommodation if you report within a certain period of time that the rental unit doesn't match the ad and the landlord doesn't fix the problem immediately. You can read the details in our help center.

How can I cancel my reservation?
How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.
Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your reservation request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the reservation before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the landlord accepts your reservation, their property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
Do you have an approved reservation and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your reservation, contact HousingAnywhere customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).
