From the easily accessible and well-lit entrance on the ground floor, take the elevator up to the 14th floor to find both the loft and its conveniently placed accompanying storage unit down the gallery.

Upon entering the loft you can already see the light pouring into the living room at the end of the hallway. The wooden wall with shelving and coat rack on your left creates a soothing contrast with the grey and white hues of the loft’s industrial style. A little down the hallway the first and second doors provide access to the modern-looking toilet and bathroom with walk-in shower, respectively.

Directly on your left is the ‘open’ bedroom with large cabinets from floor to ceiling and a king-size bed in the middle of the room. The wood of the bedframe and nightstands, contrasted with the grey floor tiles and walls, repeat the unique touches that give the loft its authentic style. Top-to-bottom windows provide a breathtaking view of the city and the Euromast. The top section of the windows can be opened for ventilation, and retractable blinds ensure you can switch between a gorgeous, unobstructed view and complete privacy as you please.

The other side of the bedroom is connected to the kitchen, separated by a small, convenient room equipped with a washing machine connection. The kitchen itself features a large counter with a sink, a wide oven, induction plates and a hood, beautifully integrated lighting and ample storage space in the various cupboards. It matches the modern/industrial style of the loft flawlessly and comes equipped with kitchen utensils.

Finally, we get to the heart of the loft: the living room. Again, the first thing you will notice is the light bathing the entire room. Similar to the bedroom, the windows span both the entire width and height of the loft, from floor to ceiling. Additionally, these sliding windows can be opened horizontally to create a French balcony. Right next to the kitchen is a tall dinner table with accompanying high chairs, so you can entertain your guests as you are preparing dinner. Ideal for a dinner party!

The sofa, chairs and coffee table all conform to the loft’s very own color palette and are set up so that the room feels incredibly cosy and spacious at the same time. Things to do in the area – suggestions from the owner

The area around the loft provides ample opportunity for sports and leisure activities. For instance, the Basic-Fit sports center is but a 7-min walk away, but the area itself lends itself to beautiful walks. You can of course walk along the river Maas, but you can also walk to “Het Park”, a fresh patch of green in the middle of the city where you can enjoy nature, several restaurants, or even try your luck at a game of mini golf.

Fancy something cultural?
Then there are several theatres nearby for you to visit, such as the Maaspodium, the Theater Rotterdam, or the Theater op het Water. If you take the tram to Rotterdam, Kievitslaan (2 stops down), you can visit the Kunsthal Rotterdam, an art museum hosting temporary exhibitions located in Rotterdam’s Museumpark.

Shops
Right below the apartment complex is an Albert Heijn and Gall&Gall, so if you forget something while grocery shopping, don’t worry! You can quickly go get it and be back home in a matter of minutes.

Getting around & parking
The apartment complex is easily accessible both by car and public transport. If you own a car and would like convenient and worry-free parking, you can rent an optional parking spot via Q-Park. The parking is right underneath the building and provides direct access to the apartment complex.

Public transport
The tram stop Rotterdam, Pieter de Hoochweg is located one street away from the apartment complex, only a 5-minute walk. From there you can take the tram to subway station Leuvehaven and take the subway to the central train station, Rotterdam Centraal. This way you can be at the train station in about 20 minutes, and between the tram and subway lines, you can conveniently access all parts and corners of Rotterdam in little time.

Shared parts of the building are cleaned regularly. The apartment is privately owned and managed by a professional property manager.

Safety first
The apartment is equipped with all safety measures required: a fire extinguisher, smoke detectors and a fire blanket in the kitchen.

What happens after I make a reservation?

Once you send a reservation request, the landlord is notified that you are interested in their offer. From that moment, they have 24 hours to approve or reject your reservation.
Landlords are mainly interested in the profile of their tenant. Do not forget to fill in all necessary information, add your profile picture, or even make a short video about yourself. Doing that will make you more attractive for the owner and your reservation will more likely get approved.

What is the standard furnishing of flats?

All the apartments on offer on HousingAnywhere must meet certain standards. We require fully furnished and equipped ones, dishes, cutlery and internet connection included.

What is a medium-term rent?

The duration of a medium-term rent is usually 1 to 12 months. Most of the landlords offer long-term rents or rents for just a few days, therefore getting a medium-term rent without HousingAnywhere is not that easy.

Can I go through the contract before I make a reservation of the housing?

You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every offer. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on HousingAnywhere, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the landlords on HousingAnywhere.

Can I see my chosen accommodation in person before I sign the lease agreement?

Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on HousingAnywhere from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the landlord and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
If you move in and find that the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on HousingAnywhere at the time the reservation request was sent to the landlord, you can withdraw from the lease agreement under certain circumstances explained in this article in our help center.
Also, under our "secure move-in" policy, we'll assist you with moving to an alternative accommodation if you report within a certain period of time that the rental unit doesn't match the ad and the landlord doesn't fix the problem immediately. You can read the details in our help center.

How can I pay?

On HousingAnywhere, you have a variety of payment methods to choose from. You can use your card, payment gateway or bank transfer. Just pick the one which suits you the most.

How can I cancel my reservation?

How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.
Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your reservation request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the reservation before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the landlord accepts your reservation, their property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
Do you have an approved reservation and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your reservation, contact HousingAnywhere customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).
