Sabai is a calm one-bedroom home by the sea in Pafos, designed for a solo remote worker or a couple who want to exchange a grey winter for Mediterranean light, fresh air and a healthier rhythm of life — without compromising on the things you actually need to work.

The apartment sits on the ground floor of the landscaped Faros Beach complex, around five minutes' walk from the sea and coastal path. It is quiet and residential rather than being on a nightlife strip, yet everyday shops, restaurants, cafés and transport are all within easy reach.

Made for remote work

Sabai has fast Cyta fibre internet delivering around 200 Mbps, with a second router in the bedroom to maintain a strong signal throughout the apartment. Wi-Fi also reaches both terraces.

The dining/work table provides a comfortable place for laptops, and an external monitor, laptop stand, keyboard and mouse are available on request. For a couple working remotely, there is space to work together while the strong connection throughout the apartment gives you some separation when calls overlap.

When the working day finishes, close the laptop and you are already somewhere you would normally go on holiday.

A different kind of winter

Start the morning with coffee outside, a run or walk beside the Mediterranean, or some yoga on the terrace. The coastal path is five minutes away, along with grass areas and outdoor bodyweight exercise equipment. The shared pool remains available through the cooler months for anyone who enjoys a brisk swim or cold plunge.

Winter in Cyprus is mild, with plenty of bright days. It is a season for walking, hiking, cycling, eating outside when the weather allows and exploring Pafos without summer's heat or crowds.

Sabai has two outdoor spaces. The poolside terrace catches the morning light and works beautifully for breakfast or lunch. At the other side of the apartment is a more secluded south-facing terrace with a sea view and afternoon sun — our favourite place to finish the day as the sun goes down.

Settle in rather than live from a suitcase

The bedroom has a large 200 × 200 cm superking bed, which can be configured as twins on request, together with blackout blinds. There is heating and air-conditioning in both main rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, 55-inch smart TV, laptop-sized safe and keyless self check-in.

Filtered and remineralised drinking water comes directly from a separate kitchen tap, so there is no need to keep buying and carrying bottled water. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking rather than just preparing holiday snacks, and grocery and food deliveries are readily available.

The harbour and the historic centre of Pafos are easily accessible on foot or by local transport, while the nearby bus network makes it perfectly practical to stay without a car. Free parking is also available close to the complex if you choose to rent one.

Sabai is intentionally calm. Faros Beach is a residential complex with year-round neighbours, making it particularly suited to professionals, couples and slower stays rather than parties.

Stay for a month, stay for the winter, work properly when you need to — and spend the rest of your day beside the Mediterranean.

Utilities

High-speed internet, water and normal electricity usage are included in the Flatio rental price. In accordance with Flatio's standard lease terms, energy consumption up to 15% of the rental price is included. If metered electricity consumption exceeds that allowance, only the eligible excess may be charged separately based on actual meter readings and electricity costs.
