"DESCRIPTION
Cozy, comfortable, and youthful exterior duplex flat, recently refurbished in 2017, ideal for up to 4 people. It has an excellent location, right in the center of Madrid, on Montera street, one of the most picturesque streets of the city, just 100 meters from Gran Vía street and Plaza del Sol. This flat is located on the 4th floor, exterior with lift, of an old building, fully protected due to its historical and artistic value, which contains in its interior the famous "Pasaje del Comercio".
On the first floor, there is a comfortable living-dining room combined in one room, with a light grey double sofa-bed and brown wicker armchair, modern furniture, flat screen TV, and a white wooden dining area for 4-6 persons with 4 leather chairs. There is a floor-to-ceiling window at the back with a small balcony from where you can enjoy spectacular views of Montera street, Gran Via, and Plaza Sol. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances and integrated into the living room.
The flat is decorated in neutral tones and touches of color, with a cheerful character and modern and simple furniture. The high ceilings, the brightness, and the possibility of isolating oneself from the noise of the city, thanks to the soundproof windows in the living room and the bedroom.
On entering the flat, a beautiful spiral staircase in silver-painted iron leads to the upper floor. On this floor, there is an attic bedroom with a double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m), a chest of drawers with a TV, a reading chair, and a spacious and modern en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Wooden flooring throughout the flat except for the bathroom which is tiled.
The building has entrances and exits from both Montera street and Las Tres Cruces street which leads to Plaza del Carmen.

The street, on a slope, is one of the ten streets that lead to Puerta del Sol. It is a pedestrian street with a lot of commercial activity, one of the busiest streets in Madrid, and the quickest connection between Gran Vía and Puerta del Sol, which means that it is full of people at all hours of the day and night. It is full of shops and terraces, very well connected, and close to cinemas and theatres, cultural centers, shops, and restaurants.
The building has two entrances: Calle Montera and Calle de las Tres Cruces. The Retiro Park, the Botanical Gardens, Atocha station, and Plaza del Sol are just a 10-minute walk away. Metros Gran Vía and Sol.

Acogedor, cómodo y juvenil apartamento dúplex exterior, recién reformado en 2017, ideal para albergar hasta 4 personas. Tiene una excelente ubicación, en pleno Centro de Madrid, en la calle Montera, una de las calles más pintorescas de la ciudad, a escasos 100 metros de la calle Gran Vía y de la Plaza del Sol. Este apartamento se encuentra en la 4ta planta exterior con ascensor, de un edificio antiguo y protegido de forma integral debido a su valor histórico y artístico, que contiene en su interior el famoso “Pasaje del Comercio.”
En la primera planta se encuentra un cómodo salón-comedor combinados en un sólo ambiente, con un sofá-cama doble de color gris claro y sillón de mimbre marrón, mobiliario moderno, TV plana y un comedor en madera blanca para 4-6 personas con 4 sillas en cuero. Tiene al fondo un ventanal de suelo a techo con un pequeño balcón desde donde se pueden apreciar espectaculares vistas de la calle Montera, Gran Vía y Plaza Sol. La cocina está completamente equipada con todos los electrodomésticos e integrada al salón.
El apartamento está decorado con tonos neutros y toques de color, de carácter alegre, con un mobiliario moderno y sencillo. Destacan el techo alto, la luminosidad y la posibilidad de aislarse del ruido de la ciudad, gracias a los ventanales antiruido del salón y del dormitorio.
Al entrar al apartamento, destaca una bonita escalera de caracol en hierro pintado de color plata, que lleva a la planta superior. En esta planta se encuentra un dormitorio abuhardillado con una cama doble (1.80 x 2.00 m), un gavetero con una TV, un sillón de lectura y un amplio y moderno baño en suite con plato de ducha. Suelo de tarima en todo el apartamento excepto el baño que es de losa.

UBICACIÓN

La calle, en cuesta, es una de las diez calles que desembocan en la Puerta del Sol. Es una calle peatonal y de gran actividad comercial, de las más transitadas del callejero madrileño, y la vía más rápida de unión entre Gran Vía y la Puerta del Sol, lo que hace que a todas horas se muestre repleta de gente. Está llena de tiendas y terrazas, muy bien comunicada, cerca de cines y teatros, centros culturales, tiendas y restaurantes.

Can I go through the contract before I make a reservation of the housing?
You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every offer. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on HousingAnywhere, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the landlords on HousingAnywhere.
Can I see my chosen accommodation in person before I sign the lease agreement?
Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on HousingAnywhere from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the landlord and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
If you move in and find that the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on HousingAnywhere at the time the reservation request was sent to the landlord, you can withdraw from the lease agreement under certain circumstances explained in this article in our help center.

How can I cancel my reservation?
How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.
Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your reservation request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the reservation before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the landlord accepts your reservation, their property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
