Il monolocale si trova all'interno della cinta delle mura di Firenze nei pressi di Porta San Frediano. Si affaccia su una tranquilla strada tipica del centro fiorentino animata da atelier di artisti e botteghe artigiane, facilmente raggiungibile a piedi in circa quindici minuti dalla stazione ferroviaria di Santa Maria Novella, oppure con mezzi pubblici.
L'alloggio, arredato in stile tradizionale toscano con pavimento in cotto e travi a vista, si trova al piano terra ed è composto da un ampio locale con zona pranzo e zona notte, un corridoio, un cucinotto e un bagno con doccia. Adatto per una o due persone, è allestibile con letto matrimoniale, uno o due letti singoli. Il monolocale è dotato di wifi, aria condizionata calda/fredda (Unico Olimpia con pompa di calore), cucina a induzione, piccolo frigorifero, forno a microonde, tostapane, bollitore elettrico, asciugacapelli, aspirapolvere, ferro e panno da stiro, scaldasalviette e lavatrice/asciugatrice.
San Frediano è nel cuore dell'Oltrarno (in fiorentino, Diladdarno), zona di Firenze posta sulla sponda sinistra del fiume. Secondo la guida Lonely Planet, il quartiere di San Frediano è tra i più "cool" del mondo: "On the southern side of Florence’s Arno river, the San Frediano neighbourhood is breathing new life into the Oltrarno area, known more for its artisans than hipster appeal. With its narrow streets and tiny sidewalks, all the action is sandwiched between one of the city’s last remaining ancient gates and Borgo San Frediano. Parte integrante del centro storico della città, l'Oltrarno è ricco di monumenti, giardini, musei e palazzi unici al mondo: Palazzo Pitti, la Basilica di Santo Spirito, il Giardino di Boboli, la Cappella Brancacci insieme alle botteghe degli artigiani, orafi, restauratori che fanno dell'Oltrarno la zona dove ancora vivono il dialetto e le tradizioni fiorentine. L'alloggio è situato in una traversa di Borgo San Frediano, dove il vernacolo fiorentino ha avuto maggior diffusione. Vasco Pratolini ha dedicato a questo borgo un libro, Le ragazze di San Frediano. In questa via e in piazza del Carmine c'erano la Chiesa e il Convento dedicati a San Frediano, costruiti prima del X secolo. Nel 1783 il Granduca Pietro Leopoldo soppresse chiesa e convento e aggregò l'una e l'altro alla Chiesa di San Frediano in Cestello.
Nei pressi dell'appartamento si trovano numerose osterie adatte a tutte le tasche. Pranzo popolare a partire da 5 euro al Club Paradiso, cene buone ed economiche da Sabatino per arrivare ad apprezzare grandi vini e cucina toscana nella Trattoria dell'Orto, al Ristorante Il Guscio, all'Antico Ristoro del Cambi, al Brindellone. Panini al lampredotto nel chiosco di Piazza de' Nerli, bomboloni caldi tutti i giorni dalle ore 16 alla Pasticceria Buonamici, bar e paninoteche, forni e piccoli supermercati. A passeggio per le vie si incontrano le botteghe artigiane e gli atelier degli artisti in un'atmosfera tranquilla, per arrivare ai giardini di Piazza Tasso in cui i bambini di San Frediano si mescolano giocando con quelli dei turisti di passaggio.

What is a medium-term rent?
The duration of a medium-term rent is usually 1 to 12 months. Most of the landlords offer long-term rents or rents for just a few days, therefore getting a medium-term rent without HousingAnywhere is not that easy.
Can I go through the contract before I make a reservation of the housing?
You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every offer. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on HousingAnywhere, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the landlords on HousingAnywhere.
Can I see my chosen accommodation in person before I sign the lease agreement?
Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on HousingAnywhere from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the landlord and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
If you move in and find that the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on HousingAnywhere at the time the reservation request was sent to the landlord, you can withdraw from the lease agreement under certain circumstances explained in this article in our help center.
Also, under our "secure move-in" policy, we'll assist you with moving to an alternative accommodation if you report within a certain period of time that the rental unit doesn't match the ad and the landlord doesn't fix the problem immediately. You can read the details in our help center.

How can I cancel my reservation?
How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.
Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your reservation request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the reservation before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the landlord accepts your reservation, their property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
Do you have an approved reservation and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your reservation, contact HousingAnywhere customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).
