This apartment is located in an extremely peaceful and safe neighborhood close to all necessary amenities. You will have a total of 43 m2 own space in your personal use. This studio is on the top floor of a 3-storey building (33 m2 inside space + a huge 10 m2 private and sunny balcony). Private bathroom with a toilet, shower and washing machine inside the apartment.
The apartment building is located in Pohjois-Tapiola which is a highly respected, peaceful and safe neighbourhood surrounded by nature. Great forest paths for walking/jogging/biking start just behind the building. Pohjois-Tapiola is located next to Otaniemi (Aalto University campus) and it takes only 10 minutes by bike to Aalto University's Otaniemi campus area. If you like walking it is only ~2.5 km to Aalto Uni and by bus/metro it takes around 15 minutes. Helsinki is only ~30 minutes away either by bike or by bus/metro.
This location is superb for someone who values peace and tranquility and still wants to be close to shops and all necessary facilities.
This fully furnished move-in ready home is suitable for example for an Erasmus exchange student, an internship, a summer worker, a postdoctoral researcher, a PhD student or a Master's Thesis worker, who is coming to study/work for example at Aalto University, University of Helsinki or Hanken School of Economics or to the Keilaniemi/Keilaranta business area which is located next to Otaniemi.

Excellent public transport connections within Espoo and also to Helsinki, capital of Finland. Near all necessary services:

✨TARGET TENANT
Rented only to a NON-SMOKING, trustworthy, reliable and honest person (or a couple or two friends), who respects the property and the neighbours. You want to keep the apartment clean&tidy, don't cause any disturbance to the neighbours and remember to pay the rent on time.
NOT SUITABLE FOR PARTY ANIMALS!
The tenant needs to have a clean credit report (landlady checks this thing).
Note that smoking an e-cigarette (vaping) is also smoking so rented only to a person (two persons) who doesn't (don't) use e-cigarettes!
✨GOOD TO KNOW!
No smoking/vaping/drugs or anything similar allowed!
No parties/pets/subtenants/subletting/air b&b/couch-surfing or anything similar!
No incense stick smoking!
No deep-frying, use of excessive oil or flaming when making/frying food on the stove or in the oven (to avoid grease residues all over the apartment)! Kitchen area must be kept clean like the rest of the apartment.
A written rental agreement is signed between me (landlady/owner of this studio) and you (the tenant).
✨READY TO MOVE IN HOME
Move-in ready home including everything seen in the photos + much more (for example kitchen and cleaning stuff inside the cabinets).
Bed linen & towels can also be provided if needed. Private bicycle(s) are available by request.
Basically you can just bring your suitcase and start living. Ask for a more detailed list of the items included. The list of items that are included can be modified based on what you want/need.
✨COSTS
💰NOTE!!! THE RENT DEPENDS ON THE RENTAL PERIOD AND HOW MANY PERSONS ARE MOVING IN. FOR EXAMPLE FOR ONE PERSON:
🔹900 e/month for one year or longer
🔹980 e/month for six months or longer
🔹1180 e/month for less than six months between January and mid August
🔹1280 e/month for minimum four months between mid August and December
🔹Kindly inquire the rent for some other time period and/or for two persons before making a booking request, thank you.
Water + electricity + Wi-Fi are all ready to use when you move in. Utility fee is 100 e/month and it is paid monthly on top of the rent.
Central heating + waste management + warm bike storage spaces + separate drying rooms with heaters for washed laundry are all included. Nothing works with gas.
Tenant(s) must purchase a home insurance in Finland for the whole renting period. I will help you with the insurance procedure so don't worry about it. The insurance costs have been ~15 e/month for one person.
Refundable security deposit is either 1500 euros (seven months or less) or two times the monthly costs (longer than seven months). The security deposit is paid via Housing Anywhere before the move-in date.
Possible to rent a car parking space (costs extra).
Possible to have also bed linen, towels and/or bicycle(s) (costs extra).

Frequently asked questions for this offer
What happens after I make a reservation?
Once you send a reservation request, the landlord is notified that you are interested in their offer. From that moment, they have 24 hours to approve or reject your reservation.
Landlords are mainly interested in the profile of their tenant. Do not forget to fill in all necessary information, add your profile picture, or even make a short video about yourself. Doing that will make you more attractive for the owner and your reservation will more likely get approved.
What is the standard furnishing of flats?
All the apartments on offer on HousingAnywhere must meet certain standards. We require fully furnished and equipped ones, dishes, cutlery and internet connection included.
What is a medium-term rent?
The duration of a medium-term rent is usually 1 to 12 months. Most of the landlords offer long-term rents or rents for just a few days, therefore getting a medium-term rent without HousingAnywhere is not that easy.
Can I go through the contract before I make a reservation of the housing?
You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every offer. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on HousingAnywhere, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the landlords on HousingAnywhere.
Can I see my chosen accommodation in person before I sign the lease agreement?
Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on HousingAnywhere from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the landlord and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
If you move in and find that the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on HousingAnywhere at the time the reservation request was sent to the landlord, you can withdraw from the lease agreement under certain circumstances explained in this article in our help center.
Also, under our "secure move-in" policy, we'll assist you with moving to an alternative accommodation if you report within a certain period of time that the rental unit doesn't match the ad and the landlord doesn't fix the problem immediately. You can read the details in our help center.
How can I pay?
On HousingAnywhere, you have a variety of payment methods to choose from. You can use your card, payment gateway or bank transfer. Just pick the one which suits you the most.
How can I cancel my reservation?
How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.
Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your reservation request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the reservation before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the landlord accepts your reservation, their property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
Do you have an approved reservation and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your reservation, contact HousingAnywhere customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).
