The apartment building is located in Pohjois-Tapiola which is a highly respected, peaceful and safe neighbourhood surrounded by nature. Great forest paths for walking/jogging/biking start just behind the building.
✨DISTANCES AND TRAVELLING
Excellent public transport connections within Espoo and also to Helsinki, capital of Finland. Near all necessary services:
🔸~10 minutes by bike to Aalto (possibility to rent an own bike or two for your private use)
🔸1-2 minutes to the closest bus stops 🔸5 minutes to the nearest metro station by bus
🔸~15 minutes by bus + metro to Aalto University
🔸~2.5 km to Aalto University in Otaniemi
🔸~30 minutes to Kamppi, Helsinki by bus + metro
🔸~15 minutes by bike and ~20 minutes by bus+metro to Keilaniemi/Keilaranta business center/park

Rented only to a NON-SMOKING, trustworthy, reliable and honest person (or a couple with a different rent), who respects the property and the neighbours. You want to keep the apartment clean&tidy, don't cause any disturbance to the neighbours and remember to pay the rent on time.
NOT SUITABLE FOR PARTY ANIMALS!
The tenant needs to have a clean credit report (landlady checks this thing).
✨GOOD TO KNOW!
No smoking/vaping/drugs or anything similar allowed!
No parties/pets/subtenants/subletting/air b&b/couch-surfing or anything similar!
No incense stick smoking!
No deep-frying, use of excessive oil or flaming when making/frying food on the stove or in the oven (to avoid grease residues all over the apartment)! Kitchen area must be kept clean like the rest of the apartment.
A written rental agreement is signed between me (landlady/owner of this studio) and you (the tenant).
✨READY TO MOVE IN HOME
Move-in ready home including everything seen in the photos + much more (for example kitchen and cleaning stuff inside the cabinets). Possibility to have also bed linen, towels and/or bicycle(s). Basically you can just bring your suitcase and start living. Ask for a more detailed list of the items included. The list of items that are included can be modified based on what you want/need.
✨COSTS
NOTE! The rent depends on the rental period and how many persons are moving in. The payment overview that Housing Anywhere platform shows to your requested period may differ from the actual payment plan because the listing price shown is based on a one year period for one person. See below for examples:
🔹980 e/month for ≥ one year
🔹1080 e/month for less than one year (minimum six months)
🔹1180 e/month for less than six months between January and August (minimum three months)
🔹1260 e/month for less than three months between January and August
🔹1335 e/month for less than six months between August and January. Minimum rental period is Aalto University's autumn period (August - December).
🔹Ask for the rent for some other period and/or for two persons.
Water + electricity + Wi-Fi are all ready to use when you move in...so you don't need to start making any utility contracts with different companies. Basic Wi-Fi is included in the rent. The Wi-Fi speed can be easily upgraded and the costs depend on how fast Wi-Fi you want. Utility fee for normal use of water and electricity is 60 e/month and it is paid monthly on top of the rent. Central heating + waste management + warm bike storage spaces + separate drying rooms with heaters for washed laundry are all included. Nothing works with gas. Refundable security deposit is EITHER 1 x the monthly payment (rental period ≤ six months) OR 2 x the monthly payment (rental period ≥ six months). Security deposit is paid via Housing Anywhere before the move-in day.
Ask for a possibility to use the sauna in the building and/or rent a car parking space (costs extra). Home insurance is required and the costs are ~10 e/month.

Frequently asked questions for this offer
What happens after I make a reservation?
Once you send a reservation request, the landlord is notified that you are interested in their offer. From that moment, they have 24 hours to approve or reject your reservation.
Landlords are mainly interested in the profile of their tenant. Do not forget to fill in all necessary information, add your profile picture, or even make a short video about yourself. Doing that will make you more attractive for the owner and your reservation will more likely get approved.
What is the standard furnishing of flats?
All the apartments on offer on HousingAnywhere must meet certain standards. We require fully furnished and equipped ones, dishes, cutlery and internet connection included.
What is a medium-term rent?
The duration of a medium-term rent is usually 1 to 12 months. Most of the landlords offer long-term rents or rents for just a few days, therefore getting a medium-term rent without HousingAnywhere is not that easy.
Can I go through the contract before I make a reservation of the housing?
You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every offer. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on HousingAnywhere, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the landlords on HousingAnywhere.
Can I see my chosen accommodation in person before I sign the lease agreement?
Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on HousingAnywhere from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the landlord and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
If you move in and find that the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on HousingAnywhere at the time the reservation request was sent to the landlord, you can withdraw from the lease agreement under certain circumstances explained in this article in our help center.
Also, under our "secure move-in" policy, we'll assist you with moving to an alternative accommodation if you report within a certain period of time that the rental unit doesn't match the ad and the landlord doesn't fix the problem immediately. You can read the details in our help center.
How can I pay?
On HousingAnywhere, you have a variety of payment methods to choose from. You can use your card, payment gateway or bank transfer. Just pick the one which suits you the most.
How can I cancel my reservation?
How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.
Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your reservation request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the reservation before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the landlord accepts your reservation, their property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
Do you have an approved reservation and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your reservation, contact HousingAnywhere customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).
