The apartment building is located in a safe area next to calming and relaxing forest areas and near Laajalahti nature reserve and sea shore. All necessary services are near.
Perfect for example for an Aalto University's exchange student (or two if you want to share the space with your friend) or a person who is coming to do an internship or work at or near Aalto University in Otaniemi next to Keilaniemi/Keilaranta business center/park. Good connections also towards Helsinki if you are coming to study/work somewhere in Helsinki.
Only a 4 minute's light rail trip (+ walking to the light rail stop) or 10 minutes by bike to Aalto University in Otaniemi! To Keilaniemi it takes 6 minutes by light rail. Possibility to rent a bicycle for your private use.
Excellent public transport connections also to Helsinki, capital of Finland. 20 minutes by taxi from the Helsinki Airport.
This fully furnished 34.5 m2 spacious studio apartment with a big private glassed-in balcony is located in Espoo, Laajalahti with great sports/outdoor activity possibilities. Laajalahti includes the Laajalahti Nature Reserve area near the seashore, with a hiking trail leading to Otaniemi and Aalto University. The apartment is about 700 meters away from this hiking trail. The big balcony gives you a nice extra space especially during the warm spring/summer/autumn days! The balcony glasses can be slided away so you can really enjoy the sunny days on the balcony! ☀️

Rented out for a 100 % NON-SMOKING, trustworthy, reliable and honest person (or a couple/two good friends), who respects the property and neighbours. You like to keep the apartment clean&tidy, don't cause any disturbance to the neighbours and remember to pay the rent on time. The tenant needs to have a clean credit report (landlady checks this thing).
Note that smoking an e-cigarette/vaping is also smoking so rented only to a person (two persons) who doesn't (don't) use e-cigarettes!
✨DISTANCES AND TRAVELLING
Excellent connections to Otaniemi and Helsinki by bus/light rail or by bike. It is only 3 km to Aalto University so you can also walk there. It takes about 10 minutes by bike and about 15 minutes (includes walking to the light rail stop) by light rail to Aalto. It takes about 30 minutes (includes walking to the bus stop) to Helsinki, Kamppi by bus (you can also travel to Kamppi by bus + metro) so this apartment is also good for a person who begins her/his studies/work in Helsinki for example at Hanken School of Economics or at University of Helsinki.
The closest grocery store is only 400 m away. Outside this store is the closest city bike station (open from March/April until October/November). About 2.5 km to a huge shopping mall called Sello located in Leppävaara.
✨MOVE-IN READY HOME
Move-in ready home including everything seen in the photos + much more (for example kitchen and cleaning stuff inside the cabinets). New smart tv with Netflix. Basically you can just bring your suitcase and start living. At the moment there are two 80 cm wide beds (another one is in the alcove and the other one is beside the balcony window) and a 160 cm wide sofa(bed) inside the apartment. The bed near the balcony window is not seen in all the photos. Ask for a more detailed list of the items included. The list of items that are included can be modified based on what you want/need.
✨COSTS
💰NOTE!!! THE RENT DEPENDS ON THE RENTAL PERIOD AND HOW MANY PERSONS ARE MOVING IN. FOR EXAMPLE FOR ONE PERSON:
🔹900 e/month for one year or longer
🔹980 e/month for six months or longer
🔹1180 e/month for less than six months between January and mid August
🔹1280 e/month for minimum four months between mid August and December
🔹Kindly inquire the rent for some other time period and/or for two persons before making a booking request, thank you.
Water + electricity + Wi-Fi are all ready to use when you move in. Utility fee is 100 e/month and it is paid monthly on top of the rent.
Nothing works with gas. Central heating + waste management + bike storage + a separate laundry&drying room space with heaters are included so no extra costs from those.
Refundable security deposit is either 1500 euros (seven months or less) or two times the monthly costs (longer than seven months). The security deposit is paid via Housing Anywhere before the move-in date.
Tenant(s) must purchase a home insurance in Finland for the whole renting period. I will help you with the insurance procedure so don't worry about it. The insurance costs have been ~15 e/month for one person.
One weekly sauna turn is included in the rent. Private sauna turns and/or a car parking space are available by request and cost extra.
Bed linen & towels can also be provided if needed. Private bicycle(s) are available by request.

No smoking/vaping/drugs or anything similar allowed!
No parties/pets/subtenants/subletting/air b&b/couch-surfing or anything similar!
No incense stick smoking!
No deep-frying, use of excessive oil or flaming when making/frying food on the stove or in the oven (to avoid grease residues all over the apartment)! Kitchen area must be kept clean like the rest of the apartment.
A written rental agreement is signed between me (landlady/owner of this studio) and you (the tenant).

Frequently asked questions for this offer
What happens after I make a reservation?
Once you send a reservation request, the landlord is notified that you are interested in their offer. From that moment, they have 24 hours to approve or reject your reservation.
Landlords are mainly interested in the profile of their tenant. Do not forget to fill in all necessary information, add your profile picture, or even make a short video about yourself. Doing that will make you more attractive for the owner and your reservation will more likely get approved.
What is the standard furnishing of flats?
All the apartments on offer on HousingAnywhere must meet certain standards. We require fully furnished and equipped ones, dishes, cutlery and internet connection included.
What is a medium-term rent?
The duration of a medium-term rent is usually 1 to 12 months. Most of the landlords offer long-term rents or rents for just a few days, therefore getting a medium-term rent without HousingAnywhere is not that easy.
Can I go through the contract before I make a reservation of the housing?
You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every offer. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on HousingAnywhere, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the landlords on HousingAnywhere.
Can I see my chosen accommodation in person before I sign the lease agreement?
Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on HousingAnywhere from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the landlord and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
If you move in and find that the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on HousingAnywhere at the time the reservation request was sent to the landlord, you can withdraw from the lease agreement under certain circumstances explained in this article in our help center.
Also, under our "secure move-in" policy, we'll assist you with moving to an alternative accommodation if you report within a certain period of time that the rental unit doesn't match the ad and the landlord doesn't fix the problem immediately. You can read the details in our help center.
How can I pay?
On HousingAnywhere, you have a variety of payment methods to choose from. You can use your card, payment gateway or bank transfer. Just pick the one which suits you the most.
How can I cancel my reservation?
How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.
Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your reservation request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the reservation before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the landlord accepts your reservation, their property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
Do you have an approved reservation and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your reservation, contact HousingAnywhere customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).
