Arrive and feel right at home, use the elevator up to the fourth floor and open the door to your new home with a transponder or from an app. All other functions like lighting, heating, shutters and much more you can easily and quickly control via the app or one of the two wall panels (SmartHome system). Relax on the large leather corner sofa and make the best use of the large smart TV. A desk with a view offers enough space for your laptop and working materials, surfing with high speed internet.

On the balcony towards the patio you can enjoy lovely hours and have your meal if you are inclined to eat outdoors. The open kitchen has everything you need for cooking, entertaining or even baking. It features an island with eating counter, German brand microwave-oven-combination, full size dishwasher, 4-flame induction stove and a large freezer-fridge, smoothie maker, toaster, espresso coffee maker with milk frother, water kettle, complete silver & glassware and pots & pans.

The separated bedroom has a high quality boxspring bed (Queensize, 160x200 cm) with plenty of storage underneath as well as a large built-in closet. It is equipped with allergy friendly bedding, adaptable to summer and winter times. From there, you can very comfortably watch TV, stream or play with the second large smart TV in the wall niche right in front of you.

The tasteful bathroom has a walk in rain fall shower, designer vanity and modern wall hanging toilet. The apartment features floor heating, efficient climate control via the most silent heat recovery ventilation unit available and the building uses solar energy. Electrical shutters adapt to your need for darkening. Your apartment has a dedicated separate storage room, accessible on the same floor, with an added wardrobe and all cleaning utensils including vacuum cleaner. There is an additional utility room on the floor with a washer, dryer and washer-dryer for your free usage.

Bilk is the most populated borough in Düsseldorf - and also one of the most interesting ones. It goes back much longer than the city itself, the location “Bilici” is first noted during the Carolingian time (799 A.D.). Since the medical faculty in Bilk was built into the University in the sixties (with now appr. 24,000 students), it is a searched after place of living for students, teachers and personnel for the university hospital. You can’t overlook that influence, a vibrant community with a great selection of bars, galleries and international restaurants across the borough. Add plenty of excellent shopping, an art cinema with lots of movies in original language (Metropol Kino) at Brunnenstraße, or the Salzmann building, a former industrial complex at Himmelgeister Straße, nowadays home to culture venues like Jazz-Schmiede, all contribute to a lively urban neighbourhood. Bilk is also famous for its charming old buildings along green avenues. Access to the university complex and hospital is quick, the close by botanical garden always worth a leisure walk. On the borders of the borough lies the old settlement Stoffeln, it's more than 300 years old chapel is a reminder of slower times. Looking for more action, at Aachener Platz you will find a well known weekly flea market.

Zusätzliche Informationen zur Lage
Bilk ist der bevölkerungsreichste Stadtteil Düsseldorfs - und auch einer der interessantesten. Denn Bilk ist viel älter als Düsseldorf, ein Ort "Bilici" taucht schon während der Karolinger- Zeit auf. Andererseits ist es heute beliebter Wohnort für Studenten, seit die einstige Medizinische Akademie in Bilk Ende der 60er-Jahre zur Universität (mit inzwischen ca. 24.000 Studenten) ausgebaut wurde. Die Spuren des Studentenlebens sind nicht zu übersehen: Eine bunte Kneipenlandschaft durchzieht den Stadtteil. Es gibt beste Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und eine internationale Palette an Restaurants. Adressen wie das Programm-Kino "Metropol" an der Brunnenstraße oder der Salzmannbau an der Himmelgeister Straße, ein ehemaliger Industriekomplex, der heute Kultureinrichtungen wie die Jazz-Schmiede beherbergt, sorgen für eine ausgesprochen vielfältige Stadtteilkultur. Gefragt ist Bilk auch wegen seiner schönen Altbauten an Alleen mit altem Baumbestand. Der Weg zur Universität ist kurz und der Botanische Garten am Rande der Universität jederzeit einen Spaziergang wert. Am Rande von Bilk und in direkter Nachbarschaft der Universität liegt der alte Siedlungskern Stoffeln. Das mehr als 300 Jahre alte Stoffeler Kapellchen an der Christophstraße erinnert an ruhigere Zeiten. Am Aachener Platz geht es freilich anders zu, dort findet allwöchentlich ein bekannter Trödelmarkt statt.
