This wonderful one-bedroom apartment (approximately 62 sqm) was fully renovated in Spring 2023 and features a spacious wraparound terrace offering breathtaking views of Bologna’s skyline. The apartment can accommodate up to 4 guests and is located on the 5th and top floor of an elegant building with elevator access, just steps from Sant'Orsola Hospital and adjacent to the historic city walls.
Guests have exclusive access to the entire apartment, including full use of the kitchen. Bed linen and towels are provided. Upon arrival, a member of our staff will welcome guests, explain the apartment's amenities, and hand over the keys. We remain available throughout the stay for any assistance that may be needed.
This apartment has been carefully designed down to the smallest detail to ensure an unforgettable stay. It is situated in a peaceful, green residential area outside Bologna's traffic restriction zone (ZTL). The interiors combine modern furnishings with refined minimalist elegance, featuring bright white walls, warm walnut wood accents, and tasteful shades of grey and light blue throughout the décor.
Air conditioning is available in both the bedroom and living area. Large-format ceramic flooring, high-performance windows, and premium finishes provide excellent thermal and acoustic insulation. The apartment overlooks a quiet, low-traffic street, ensuring a restful and relaxing environment.
The entrance opens into a spacious and beautifully furnished hallway featuring a large wardrobe for coats and a comfortable workstation, ideal for remote work. A full-length mirror allows for a final check before heading out. From the entrance, guests can access all rooms of the apartment.
The bright living room includes a comfortable sofa bed (140 x 200 cm) that easily converts into a double bed. A modern TV unit houses a 42-inch television with SKY connection. The living room opens onto a large terrace overlooking Bologna’s historic center, where guests can admire the city's iconic towers and domes, as well as enjoy views extending to the famous Basilica of San Luca atop Colle della Guardia.
The open-plan kitchen was custom-built and is fully equipped with a dishwasher, electric oven, kettle, toaster, and Nespresso coffee machine (capsules not included). A round dining table comfortably seats up to four people.
The sleeping area consists of a charming double bedroom with a spacious custom-made four-door wardrobe. A French door provides direct access to the wraparound terrace. The room is enhanced by colorful furnishings and carefully selected decorative details that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
A utility closet contains both a washing machine and dryer, along with cleaning supplies. The bathroom is naturally lit and features a spacious modern walk-in shower, elegant neutral-tone ceramics, wall-mounted sanitary fixtures, and designer faucets.
Important: Guests are required to pay a city tax not included in the rental price (from €4 to €7 per adult, per night, depending on the booking value). The tax applies only to the first 5 nights of the stay.
Cleaning and linen change service are available upon request during your stay, at agreed-upon intervals.
Location
The apartment enjoys an exceptionally strategic location directly opposite the entrance of Sant'Orsola Hospital and just a short walk from Bologna's historic center (Porta San Vitale can be reached in approximately 400 meters). It also offers convenient access to the ring road and Bologna Exhibition Centre (BolognaFiere).
The neighborhood is well served with amenities: a large supermarket, pharmacy, and bank are all within approximately 200 meters. Several restaurants, sushi bars, pizzerias, traditional trattorias, cafés, and pubs can be found along the surrounding streets. The area is also peaceful and green, making it ideal for jogging, walking, or enjoying a pleasant stroll into the city center.
Public Transportation
Several bus lines run along nearby Via Massarenti, providing easy access to the historic center. The Line 36 bus stop is just a few steps away and reaches Bologna Central Station in approximately 15 minutes. Bus Line 38 offers a direct connection to BolognaFiere.
Parking
The apartment is located outside the ZTL (restricted traffic zone). Street parking is available on blue-marked spaces and is free on Sundays and daily from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Paid parking applies during daytime hours on weekdays.
A 5-minute walk away, the "Quick Policlinico" parking facility offers monthly subscriptions starting from €100 per month and daily rates from €18.

Pets are welcome (€20 + VAT per night, charged for a maximum of the first 5 nights).

Once you send a reservation request, the landlord is notified that you are interested in their offer. From that moment, they have 24 hours to approve or reject your reservation.
Landlords are mainly interested in the profile of their tenant. Do not forget to fill in all necessary information, add your profile picture, or even make a short video about yourself. Doing that will make you more attractive for the owner and your reservation will more likely get approved.
What is the standard furnishing of flats?
All the apartments on offer on HousingAnywhere must meet certain standards. We require fully furnished and equipped ones, dishes, cutlery and internet connection included.
What is a medium-term rent?
The duration of a medium-term rent is usually 1 to 12 months. Most of the landlords offer long-term rents or rents for just a few days, therefore getting a medium-term rent without HousingAnywhere is not that easy.
Can I go through the contract before I make a reservation of the housing?
You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every offer. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on HousingAnywhere, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the landlords on HousingAnywhere.
Can I see my chosen accommodation in person before I sign the lease agreement?
Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on HousingAnywhere from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the landlord and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
If you move in and find that the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on HousingAnywhere at the time the reservation request was sent to the landlord, you can withdraw from the lease agreement under certain circumstances explained in this article in our help center.
Also, under our "secure move-in" policy, we'll assist you with moving to an alternative accommodation if you report within a certain period of time that the rental unit doesn't match the ad and the landlord doesn't fix the problem immediately. You can read the details in our help center.
How can I pay?

How can I cancel my reservation?
How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.
Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your reservation request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the reservation before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the landlord accepts your reservation, their property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
