Charming two bedroom apartment in Bologna, with balcony, located on the 2nd floor of a typical Bolognese building (without lift), located in the very central Via Mascarella, a few minutes walk from Piazza Maggiore.

Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen and are provided with bed linens and towels. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting at the apartment to explain how everything works and to hand over the keys. During your stay, our staff is available to address any requests or concerns.

This pleasant and functional 72 sqm flat overlooks an internal courtyard, so as to be extremely quiet, ideal for those who want to experience the city center in an environment of serenity and privacy. Air conditioning is provided by two splits: one in the living room and the other one in the master bedroom. The heating is autonomous.

The entrance door leads into the bright and spacious living room, furnished with a comfortable double sofa bed (140 x 200 cm) and a single bed (80 x 200 cm), this space offers a 32” flat screen TV. The dining table can be opened to accommodate up to 6 diners. The living room communicates directly with the American-style kitchen, which is completely equipped and includes a column fridge, microwave oven, coffee pod machine (Caffitaly) and electric oven.

The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms. The large, master bedroom includes a large wardrobe, a comfortable double bed (160 x 200 cm) and overlooks a balcony that allows you to gaze out over the rooftops of Bologna. Guests have access to a second small room, equipped with a single sofa bed (80 x 195 cm) and a table complete with seating.

Finally, the bathroom is covered with white ceramics, and it has a comfortable walk-in shower.

The rental price includes the initial and the final cleaning, the rent, the condominium expenses, Italian taxes (television and garbage), WiFi internet and bills. For electricity and gas, in particular, we include a forfait of € 100 per month. Only if you exceed this forfait, you would have to pay the difference.

Area:
Located in the historic center, a few minutes walk from the university area of ​​Via Zamboni, the apartment allows you to walk to all the major attractions of the historic center, from Via Indipendenza, the main street of Bologna, to Piazza Maggiore, the two Towers and all the other monuments in the center. The property is also strategically located in a convenient way to reach the Bologna Fair and the Sant'Orsola Hospital.

Public transportation:
Numerous buses pass along Via Irnerio, one of the main axes of public transport in Bologna, in the direction of the historic centre, the railway station and the Bologna fair.

Parking:
The apartment is within the limited traffic area (ZTL) of the university, where no access pass can be purchased. However, it is just a few meters from via Irnerio, which is outside the ZTL, where you can unload your luggage.

Parking is available along Via Irnerio on the blue lines: free on Sundays and every day from 20.00 to 8.00; and for a fee during the daytime hours of the weekdays.

Another option is the public parking APCOA Piazza VIII Agosto, where it is possible to park indoors for € 24 every 24h, or subscribe to weekly passes (€ 90) or monthly passes (€ 200).

Pets:
Pets are allowed (€ 20+VAT per night, limited to the first 5 nights).

What happens after I make a reservation?

Once you send a reservation request, the landlord is notified that you are interested in their offer. From that moment, they have 24 hours to approve or reject your reservation.
Landlords are mainly interested in the profile of their tenant. Do not forget to fill in all necessary information, add your profile picture, or even make a short video about yourself. Doing that will make you more attractive for the owner and your reservation will more likely get approved.

What is the standard furnishing of flats?

All the apartments on offer on HousingAnywhere must meet certain standards. We require fully furnished and equipped ones, dishes, cutlery and internet connection included.

What is a medium-term rent?

The duration of a medium-term rent is usually 1 to 12 months. Most of the landlords offer long-term rents or rents for just a few days, therefore getting a medium-term rent without HousingAnywhere is not that easy.

Can I go through the contract before I make a reservation of the housing?

You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every offer. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on HousingAnywhere, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the landlords on HousingAnywhere.

Can I see my chosen accommodation in person before I sign the lease agreement?

Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on HousingAnywhere from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the landlord and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
If you move in and find that the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on HousingAnywhere at the time the reservation request was sent to the landlord, you can withdraw from the lease agreement under certain circumstances explained in this article in our help center.
Also, under our "secure move-in" policy, we'll assist you with moving to an alternative accommodation if you report within a certain period of time that the rental unit doesn't match the ad and the landlord doesn't fix the problem immediately. You can read the details in our help center.

How can I pay?

How can I cancel my reservation?

How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.
Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your reservation request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the reservation before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the landlord accepts your reservation, their property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
