The essentials
The apartment is situated at a 3rd floor, served by lift, in an historical Palace (Palazzo Torfanini), located in one of the finest streets in the very city center of Bologna, 5min away from Piazza Maggiore. It is composed by a living/dining room, a kitchen, one m(hidden)edroom and a secondary bedroom, one ample bathroom and a walk-in closet. There is also a cute terrace. The apartment is completely furnished, the style is contemporary and includes design pieces. It is absolutely quiet, facing inside the building.
Details
Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen and are provided with bed linens and towels. Upon arrival, I will be waiting at the apartment to explain how everything works and to hand over the keys. During your stay, I am available to address any requests or concerns. The heating is autonomous regulated and can be adjusted by a central thermostat, while both, the living and sleeping area, are equipped with air conditioning units. The ceiling of the living room and the kitchen is in wood with exposed beams. In the living room there is the dinner table for 6 persons, and the Cappellini sittings (2 armchairs and a sofa, a four people accommodation). The customized kitchen is equipped with every modern appliance such as a refrigerator/freezer, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and a gas hob and plenty of dishes and kitchenware.
From the living room to the sleeping area there is a corridor with a large wardrobe. The m(hidden)edroom is furnished with a double bed (160 x 200 cm) an armchair, a drawer and a tv screen. Attached to the m(hidden)edroom there is a walk-in closet that includes a storage area where household cleaning and care supplies are kept. There is a second bedroom equipped with a single bed and a sofa. It could be substituted with a double sofa bed. The bathroom includes elegant tiles and a large customized shower cabin. The apartment also includes a washing machine, located in the bathroom. Facilities: - Air conditioning - ADSL Internet with Wi-Fi included in the price - Clothes rack, iron and ironing board - Hot water provided with boiler.
The rental price includes the initial and the final cleaning, the rent, the condominium expenses, Italian taxes (television and garbage), WiFi internet. Gas and electricity are paid on the billed consumption.
Pets: Pets could be allowed but the matter must be discussed, main issue is do not generate noise disturbing the neighbours.
Area: this property is located in an enviable position in the historic centre of Bologna, just a few steps from the heart of Bologna, its magnificent Piazza Maggiore. This location is great for guests who wish to explore the city on foot. Within a few minutes’ walk, guests can also reach all the most interesting monuments in the city centre, as well as the buildings that house numerous art exhibits or the most renowned restaurants. The apartment is located, in a palazzo under the tutelage of the Superintendence of Fine Arts and which was once home to aristocrats. The apartment is right next to Palazzo Ghisilardi, home of the Medieval Civic Museum of Bologna, and the Exhibition Centre of Palazzo Fava, with its Carracci Fava Literary-Café. In its immediate vicinity are points of great historical and artistic interest, such as the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts, the renowned Opera Comunale, the famous Jewish ghetto, and the Garisenda and Asinelli towers, which, like Piazza Maggiore, are less than a two-minute walk away. Via Indipendenza, the most well-known shopping street in Bologna, is about 30 m. away. The alleyways next to Piazza Maggiore, centred on Via Pescherie Vecchie, with all their food and wine shops, are also located at a very short distance. Public Transportation: Along the adjacent Via Indipendenza it is possible to take the bus to reach the train station or the fair. Parking: The apartment is located inside the ZTL and an access ticket is requested. We have the possibility to rent a parking space at the cost of 250 euro per month or 25 euro per day. For customers who stay for a short period, the Municipality allows entry by car into the center only for 3 days in the course of a month or for 4 consecutive days. Access is guaranteed by a daily ticket (€ 6).

The duration of a medium-term rent is usually 1 to 12 months. Most of the landlords offer long-term rents or rents for just a few days, therefore getting a medium-term rent without HousingAnywhere is not that easy.
Can I go through the contract before I make a reservation of the housing?
You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every offer. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on HousingAnywhere, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the landlords on HousingAnywhere.
Can I see my chosen accommodation in person before I sign the lease agreement?
Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on HousingAnywhere from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the landlord and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
If you move in and find that the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on HousingAnywhere at the time the reservation request was sent to the landlord, you can withdraw from the lease agreement under certain circumstances explained in this article in our help center.
Also, under our "secure move-in" policy, we'll assist you with moving to an alternative accommodation if you report within a certain period of time that the rental unit doesn't match the ad and the landlord doesn't fix the problem immediately. You can read the details in our help center.

How can I cancel my reservation?
How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.
Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your reservation request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the reservation before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the landlord accepts your reservation, their property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
Do you have an approved reservation and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your reservation, contact HousingAnywhere customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).
