Nestled high above the Mediterranean on Mallorca’s spectacular west coast, this charming guesthouse is part of a centuries-old finca surrounded by olive groves, almond trees and the untouched beauty of the Serra de Tramuntana.
Although located on the same estate, the guesthouse is a completely independent home with its own private entrance, terraces and outdoor spaces, offering peace, privacy and the feeling of having your own finca in one of the island’s most beautiful settings.
The house extends over approximately 150 m² on two levels. On the ground floor are two comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms and a spacious walk-in wardrobe. Upstairs, a light-filled open-plan living area forms the heart of the home: a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, comfortable lounge and fireplace all open onto a large terrace-balcony. In addition to the upper balcony terrace, the house enjoys its own private outdoor terrace directly in front of the entrance, furnished with a dining table, chairs, sun loungers and a barbecue.
One of its most special features is a traditional Mallorcan safreig — a 30-metre-long water reservoir fed by the estate’s own mountain spring. The crystal-clear water flows naturally from the Tramuntana and provides a unique place for swimming, cooling off and enjoying the landscape. Far removed from the feel of a conventional swimming pool, it offers an authentic connection to the land and the rhythms of Mallorcan country life.
From our finca, the views are simply extraordinary. The Mediterranean stretches endlessly to the horizon, and the sunsets over the water are among the most beautiful Mallorca has to offer. Whether enjoying breakfast in the morning sun, working remotely with a sea view or spending evenings by the fireplace after a walk through the mountains, the house offers a rare combination of authenticity, comfort and nature.
The finca itself sits on approximately 30,000 m² of terraced land planted with around 100 olive trees and 100 almond trees. The surroundings are quiet and natural, with hiking trails beginning directly from the property and the picturesque village of Banyalbufar only a short walk away.
This is not a holiday apartment but a place to truly live, slow down and experience Mallorca beyond tourism. Ideal for remote workers, writers, artists, nature lovers or anyone seeking a longer stay immersed in the unique atmosphere of the Tramuntana.
- Life in Banyalbufar
Banyalbufar is one of Mallorca’s hidden gems: a small, picturesque village nestled between mountains and sea, where life still follows a slower rhythm. Famous for its ancient stone terraces that descend dramatically towards the Mediterranean, the village has retained its authentic character and remains largely untouched by mass tourism.
Despite its peaceful atmosphere, Banyalbufar offers everything needed for daily life. You will find a local grocery store stocked with all essential necessities, several small cafés, a pharmacy and a handful of restaurants where residents and visitors gather throughout the year. The small harbour and natural stone beach below the village invite refreshing swims in crystal-clear water and provide a beautiful setting for watching the sea throughout the changing seasons.
For more extensive shopping and services, the charming town of Esporles is only about 15 minutes away by car. There you will find larger supermarkets, schools, medical services, a weekly Saturday market and all the conveniences of everyday life, while still enjoying the atmosphere of a traditional Mallorcan town. The capital Palma is only 35-45 minutes away.
One of the greatest luxuries of living in Banyalbufar is the balance between seclusion and connection: surrounded by nature and some of the most spectacular landscapes on the island, yet close enough to Palma for work, culture and city life whenever desired.

Cancellation Policy
You can cancel the reservation for free within 14 days before moving.
If you cancel your booking 14 days or more before the move-in date, you’ll get a refund of the entire first rent. If you cancel your booking up to 7 days before the move-in date, you’ll get a refund of half of the first rent. If you cancel your booking less than 6 days before the move-in date, you won’t get a refund of the first rent. The service fee is always refundable. If you send a message to Flatio's Support Team requesting cancelation of the booking ("termination from the start date") within 48 hours after the lease agreement becomes valid, you're entitled to get back all the money you paid for the service fee. After 48 hours, you're entitled to a refund of the service fee in the form of a "voucher" equal to the amount of the service fee you paid. The voucher can be used for your next booking and is valid for 12 months. If the service fee for your next booking is lower than the voucher amount, we'll issue you a new voucher for the remaining amount, valid for 12 months.

What happens after I make a reservation?
Once you send a reservation request, the landlord is notified that you are interested in their offer. From that moment, they have 24 hours to approve or reject your reservation.
Landlords are mainly interested in the profile of their tenant. Do not forget to fill in all necessary information, add your profile picture, or even make a short video about yourself. Doing that will make you more attractive for the owner and your reservation will more likely get approved.
What is the standard furnishing of flats?
All the apartments on offer on Flatio must meet certain standards. We require fully furnished and equipped ones, dishes, cutlery and internet connection included.
What is a medium-term rent?
The duration of a medium-term rent is usually 1 to 12 months. Most of the landlords offer long-term rents or rents for just a few days, therefore getting a medium-term rent without Flatio is not that easy.
Can I go through the contract before I make a reservation of the housing?
You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every offer. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on Flatio, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the landlords on Flatio.
Can I see my chosen accommodation in person before I sign the lease agreement?
Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on Flatio from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the landlord and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
If you move in and find that the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on Flatio at the time the reservation request was sent to the landlord, you can withdraw from the lease agreement under certain circumstances explained in this article in our help center.
Also, under our "secure move-in" policy, we'll assist you with moving to an alternative accommodation if you report within a certain period of time that the rental unit doesn't match the ad and the landlord doesn't fix the problem immediately. You can read the details in our help center.
How can I pay?
On Flatio, you have a variety of payment methods to choose from. You can use your card, payment gateway or bank transfer. Just pick the one which suits you the most.
How can I cancel my reservation?
How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.
Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your reservation request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the reservation before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the landlord accepts your reservation, their property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
Do you have an approved reservation and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your reservation, contact Flatio customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).
