Quiet west facing penthouse with a large private roof terrace looking over the city and a little of the Atlantic Ocean in Foz.
Portuguese dark grey granit kitchen and two bathrooms with shower. Small sofa located in the living room can be used a sleeping option for a child or small person. Ideal for one or two couples or groups of 4 friends and one child visiting the city. Easy 10-minute walk to Bolhão or 6-minute to Marquês, located in Rua de Santa Catarina, main shopping street.

Focused on organic materials, wooden furniture and kitchenware as well as bespoke elements produced by local artisans, this two storey flat provides a comfortable stay for one or two couples or up to 4 people sharing beds and maybe the small sofa bed for one small person or child. Locally made furniture and other selected items have been carefully selected to make your stay more comfortable and always support local small business owners and promote traditional design.

The small bedroom has a queen size mattress on the floor. The large bedroom has a queen size bed and has a private bathroom.
Please note that both sleeping areas now have a sliding door dividing the corridor between them. This door can also be closed to create a working space when using the new desk, diving this room from the rest of the house.

The living room area has a small but comfortable sofa bed (1.90 x 0.65cm) that can be set as a small bed when requested, ideally for a small person or child.

Kitchen is equipped with all essentials, pans, crockery, cutlery, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, washer and dryer, stove and oven.
Bathroom is equipped with showers, and boilers can provide up to 5 showers at one time - all towels and fresh clean bedlinen are provided to our guests.
The west facing roof terrace has an open view to the main street Rua de Santa Catarina and offers beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean in Foz, a few kilometres away, and provides a very quiet and sunny spot during sunset. Sun shines across the rooftop from around 11am/12pm to 7/8pm.

The flat is located on the 5th floor with lift access, but 5 steps on the way. The flat has low ceiling in the bedroom areas, specially the small room where standing isn’t possible but it gives one this comfortable feeling of being in a small bedroom. Both rooms have plenty of direct sunlight during all day and are located on the upper floor. Access to the bedrooms is made by the spiral stairway (8 steps) or using the building stairs up to the last floor as the flat has two separate but exclusive access doors.

Kitchen has all the standard appliances including a Nespresso coffee machine and an italian coffee maker, but coffee isn’t provided - you can buy coffee capsules or ground coffee at Via Santa Catarina Shopping Centre nearby.

A new work space has been created so you can have your own desk, as well as a new sliding door to separate both sleeping areas.

If you are now working from home and want a home-from-home atmosphere in the heart of Porto / Lisbon and are looking to stay for a long term, then this is the perfect home for you. The apartment offers:

Guests will have access to the entire flat during the rental period.
- Check in is done at the property address where I or Sara will welcome you, show you around the flat and answer all your questions. We are very happy to give you a few local tips on the best restaurants and spots where the locals hangout upon arrival.

- Check out is at 11am and depending on the following guests schedules, you can leave your luggage for a longer period when possible.

- Please note that for last minute reservations the check in hours can vary as the flat may not be ready at the usual hours. Please ask us when will you be able to check in for same day reservations, we will always try to accommodate you as early as possible.

PLEASE NOTE:
- Damaged/extra/very dirty/missing towels will be charged at €15 per towel. Guests are only entitled with 1 towel per person up to 5 days booking, longer bookings can use extra towels for free.

- Damaged/missing bed linen will be charged full current price.
- Early morning check in or Late check out fee (before 11am/after 11am): €25
- Pets pay a one time fee extra of €25 for the entire stay for every 5 days or less.

We take recycling very seriously so please help us recycle plastic, packaging, paper and cardboard and glass taking your rubbish to the proper bins on the Main Street - see further instructions at the apartment.

What happens after I make a reservation?

Once you send a reservation request, the landlord is notified that you are interested in their offer. From that moment, they have 24 hours to approve or reject your reservation.
Landlords are mainly interested in the profile of their tenant. Do not forget to fill in all necessary information, add your profile picture, or even make a short video about yourself. Doing that will make you more attractive for the owner and your reservation will more likely get approved.

What is the standard furnishing of flats?

All the apartments on offer on HousingAnywhere must meet certain standards. We require fully furnished and equipped ones, dishes, cutlery and internet connection included.

What is a medium-term rent?

The duration of a medium-term rent is usually 1 to 12 months. Most of the landlords offer long-term rents or rents for just a few days, therefore getting a medium-term rent without HousingAnywhere is not that easy.

Can I go through the contract before I make a reservation of the housing?

You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every offer. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on HousingAnywhere, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the landlords on HousingAnywhere.

Can I see my chosen accommodation in person before I sign the lease agreement?

Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on HousingAnywhere from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the landlord and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
If you move in and find that the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on HousingAnywhere at the time the reservation request was sent to the landlord, you can withdraw from the lease agreement under certain circumstances explained in this article in our help center.
Also, under our "secure move-in" policy, we'll assist you with moving to an alternative accommodation if you report within a certain period of time that the rental unit doesn't match the ad and the landlord doesn't fix the problem immediately. You can read the details in our help center.

How can I pay?

On HousingAnywhere, you have a variety of payment methods to choose from. You can use your card, payment gateway or bank transfer. Just pick the one which suits you the most.

How can I cancel my reservation?

How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.
Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your reservation request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the reservation before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the landlord accepts your reservation, their property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
Do you have an approved reservation and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your reservation, contact HousingAnywhere customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).
