The flat is located right between the Historical Centre and Jalatlaco neighbourhood which is the oldest neighborhoud in Oaxaca, it is the hipster neighborhood of Oaxaca with lots of coffee shops, art galleries, cobblestones streets, street art. In 2019 Time Out Magazine ranked Jalatlaco as one of the 20 coolest neighborhoods in the world.

This one bedroom apartment. has been adapted inside a very big house where a couple in their 60s live. To get to the apartment you have to cross their living room. outside the flat there is a common area which is a pool table, a lounge and there is a communal terrace on the top floor.

There is a kitchen with lots of cooking appliances, stove, coffee maker, there is a kettle, knives, pots, pans and everything you could need in a kitchen.

Guest have a complete loft for themselves and access to the common area which is a terrace. Next to the loft there is a two floor building with a terrace on top and you have access to the terrace.

You will get a perfectly clean apartment, cleaning is once a week with change of towels and sheets without extra cost.

The bathroom is a small vintage Mexican bathroom but completely functional

The flat is on a vibrant, trendy and touristy neighborhood, remember you are in Mexico so you might hear noises that you normally might not hear in your country like vendors passing the street and selling tamales, or the gas delivery truck has a noisy jingle song which they play while driving but those are noises that you will hear in all Oaxaca, a dog in the neighbourhood might bark as they do in all Oaxaca, some people have dogs in their roofs. Those type of noises that are normal to us but might be unusual for tourists although you will hear them everywhere you go in Oaxaca. This is a vibrant neighborhood so you there might be occasional events in the neoghborhood, this is a touristy vibrant city full of festivities.
