The property includes two televisions so you can enjoy your favourite series and films in comfort and with high image quality, making your stay even more enjoyable.

The finishes are of exceptional quality: the two bathrooms feature designer walk-in showers and fittings from top international brands (including Grohe). The kitchen worktop is Silestone, the exterior joinery is high-performance thermal and acoustic insulating (Kömmerling), appliances are energy-efficient, and all lighting uses LED technology.

In addition, there is air conditioning, central heating, and hot water.

The kitchen is fully equipped to simplify everyday life, including an oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer — making laundry especially convenient. Ample storage and a large American-style fridge-freezer allow for substantial food shopping.

You’ll also find small appliances to support your cooking needs: blender, coffee maker, juicer, toaster, and more.

IMPORTANT: Electricity consumption will be paid by the guests. The amount from the final month will be deducted from the deposit, based on the daily average consumption during the stay. For stays longer than 6 months, water and internet consumption will also be the responsibility of the guest.

Optionally, there is usually a parking space available in the building, payable separately directly to the concierge.





AREA

The best gastronomy in the city: Very close by you’ll find El Asador Donostiarra, Mesón Txistu, and Casa Juan, all three are regularly visited by professional football players. La Máquina is directly opposite (renowned for its fresh seafood tanks and high-end Asturian cuisine). La Cantina, owned by the same group, is more of a tavern-style eatery, though it also has a restaurant area at the back with delicious specialities you shouldn’t miss. Portobello (specialising in seafood) is about a 3-minute walk away. Taberna Ocafú, offering Galician cuisine and known for its famous tortilla de Betanzos, is just a 5 to 6-minute walk. Also excellent is Restaurante Cabo do Mundo, about the same distance. Ask for Soraya and mention you’re staying with us for extra-special attention. They also have private dining rooms downstairs. The area is also full of Asian, Latin American, and other international restaurants, as well as terraces and local bars perfect for enjoying a good aperitif.

Shopping: This is an ideal area for shopping. Just a 7 to 8-minute walk away is Castellana 200 Shopping Centre, which includes Media Markt, H&M, SuperDry, Movistar, Bimba y Lola, and more. Around 15 minutes on foot is the Orense–AZCA shopping district, with over 50 national and international fashion brands, and the largest El Corte Inglés in the city, spread across four buildings.

Trade Fairs and Conferences: Also around 15 minutes’ walk to the south is the Palacio de Congresos, known for its famous Joan Miró mural. Buses to IFEMA stop just 5 minutes away from our building, near the Meliá Castilla Hotel.

Sport: We’re just a 10 to 15-minute walk from the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid Football Club, with its Museum (the second most visited in Spain) and Shopping Centre, which includes the Official Club Store.

Courts: The Plaza de Castilla Courts and the Family Courts are just a 10 and 5-minute walk, respectively, heading north.

Hospitals: La Paz Hospital Complex is 5 minutes away by car, and Ramón y Cajal Hospital is a little further on, around 10 minutes. There’s also direct bus service from Bravo Murillo Street.





HOW TO MOVE

Transport connections:

Bus: More than 10 EMT bus lines run along Sor Ángela de la Cruz, Castellana and Bravo Murillo, connecting with all four corners of the city. Night buses, which operate after the Metro closes, also stop just 5 minutes’ walk from the apartment.

Metro: There are two Metro stations very close by:

Tetuán (Line 1)is the nearest and connects directly to the historic city centre. Any of the station exits will bring you straight to Infanta Mercedes 61, located at the corner with Sor Ángela de la Cruz.

Cuzco (Line 10)is just a 3-minute walk away, along Sor Ángela de la Cruz street.

Transport Hub: The Plaza de Castilla transport hub is about a 7 to 8-minute walk from the apartment. It connects the intercity buses coming into Madrid via the A-1 (Burgos motorway) and the M-607 (Colmenar motorway), Metro lines 1, 9 and 10, and several EMT bus lines. It also features a public car park with 400 spaces.

Train: Chamartín Station is 1.9 km away (three Metro stops) or about 20 to 25 minutes on foot. It offers both local commuter trains to the northern suburbs of Madrid and long-distance rail services. The station also includes a shopping centre, gym, restaurants and car rental offices.

-Tenants must present a valid ID and a credit card at check-in.

-Parties and similar events are not permitted at this property.

-Access to the apartment requires a smartphone with an internet connection.

-The tenant will be required to sign a seasonal rental agreement. This contract respects the original conditions of the booking and must specify the duration of the stay, indicating that the purpose of the rental is not indefinite occupation of the property nor use as a permanent residence. It must also include the tenant’s habitual residence address (where they are officially registered) and state the reason for the rental.

- Smoking is not allowed in the whole building.

- Please do not make noise after 10pm.

- In the home it is forbidden to have parties, celebrate events, drink excess alcohol, use drugs, play loud music, throw things out the windows, yell on the stairs or in the hall and any improper behavior that may be annoying. The owner reserves the right to call the police in case of scandal and complaint from neighbors.

- The total or partial sublease of this property is totally prohibited.

- Inside the building and the apartment, filming and audiovisual productions of any kind and dissemination are prohibited without the express written authorization of the owner.

- The guest will be responsible for the electricity consumption through the proportional payment of the bills for the duration of the reservation.

- When you arrive at the accommodation you must pay a deposit of € 1,000 by credit card, it will be refunded upon departure in the same medium, before 14 days of your checkout date.

- Do not throw objects, cotton, compresses, wipes, etc. to the toilet. Any traffic jam due to misuse will be paid by the guest.

- For hygiene, take out the garbage every night in a closed bag to the community container, except on Sundays. In addition, there is a garbage room in basement 2 open 24 hours.

- Please use the extractor when cooking and keep the filters clean to avoid bad odors (they can be put in the dishwasher).

- Do not forget to always leave the house with the keys. In the event that locksmith expenses are incurred, they will be borne by the guest.

- If the guest has lost the keys outside the home, or if they were stolen, they will have to pay the locksmith's expense and the replacement of keys.

- Please use the water and light only when you need it. We appreciate you turning everything off before leaving your apartment.

- The guest expressly accepts that failure to comply with these rules may lead to the eviction of guests and cancellation of the reservation without any refund of money.

Cancellation Policy

Strict (30-days)

You can cancel the reservation for free within 30 days before moving.

Backup accommodation

If you cancel your booking 30 days or more before the move-in date, you’ll get a refund of the entire first rent. If you cancel your booking up to 14 days before the move-in date, you’ll get a refund of half of the first rent. If you cancel your booking less than 13 days before the move-in date, you won’t get a refund of the first rent.

What happens after I make a reservation?

Once you send a reservation request, the landlord is notified that you are interested in their offer. From that moment, they have 24 hours to approve or reject your reservation.
Landlords are mainly interested in the profile of their tenant. Do not forget to fill in all necessary information, add your profile picture, or even make a short video about yourself. Doing that will make you more attractive for the owner and your reservation will more likely get approved.

What is the standard furnishing of flats?

All the apartments on offer on Flatio must meet certain standards. We require fully furnished and equipped ones, dishes, cutlery and internet connection included.

What is a medium-term rent?

The duration of a medium-term rent is usually 1 to 12 months. Most of the landlords offer long-term rents or rents for just a few days, therefore getting a medium-term rent without Flatio is not that easy.

Can I go through the contract before I make a reservation of the housing?

You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every offer. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on Flatio, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the landlords on Flatio.

Can I see my chosen accommodation in person before I sign the lease agreement?

Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on Flatio from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the landlord and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
If you move in and find that the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on Flatio at the time the reservation request was sent to the landlord, you can withdraw from the lease agreement under certain circumstances explained in this article in our help center.
Also, under our "secure move-in" policy, we'll assist you with moving to an alternative accommodation if you report within a certain period of time that the rental unit doesn't match the ad and the landlord doesn't fix the problem immediately. You can read the details in our help center.

How can I pay?

On Flatio, you have a variety of payment methods to choose from. You can use your card, payment gateway or bank transfer. Just pick the one which suits you the most.

How can I cancel my reservation?

How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.
Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your reservation request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the reservation before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the landlord accepts your reservation, their property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
